"We had a very nice over night stop, the kitchen facilities were great!! The room was a little too small, no where to put clothes so had to keep opening and close suitcases but not enough space to leave them open. Had to put them against the room door and moving them each time we went out. It is an amazing location. "

"Our stay at Yggdrasil was amazing! It's truly a unique place. The dinners are out of this world, chef quality local cuisine served in a spectacular setting. If you are looking for a relaxing get away you will have a hard time topping this place! My only watchout for first timers to Tromso is that it is a pretty good distance from the city centre and airport. 45 minute drive. The owners did a great job with our transportation needs, but you do need to plan ahead and schedule with them. We didn't use a taxi, but I would assume that if you can find one willing to come pick you up it will be a very expensive ride. That said, this is as charming of a place as you will find anywhere in the world and the scenery is breathtaking. The owners are meticulous when it comes to taking care of things. We will definitely be back!!!!"

"Ended up arriving later than expected to find no staff at the desk (beyond the 3:30 cut-off). Front doors locked and no answer on the phone to call. Turns out there were instructions (thru expedia) for the need to call if you were to be late. Once they called back (and someone let me in to the lobby) i was able to get a key to a room. After that it was smooth sailing. I was uncertain of the area around the hotel but as my stay progressed I realized it to be busy and safe. Surrounded by malls, restaurants and a grocery nearby. Interesting things to look at near the port a couple blocks away. Overall a comfortable stay. Breakfast available each morning."

"This was an amazing apartment that looked like it was newly renovated. Such a beautiful building and nice patio overlooking the water. Had a nice fridge, stove and everything you need to cook yourself. Only stayed one night but this I would highly recommend this spot."
