"Ended up arriving later than expected to find no staff at the desk (beyond the 3:30 cut-off). Front doors locked and no answer on the phone to call. Turns out there were instructions (thru expedia) for the need to call if you were to be late. Once they called back (and someone let me in to the lobby) i was able to get a key to a room. After that it was smooth sailing. I was uncertain of the area around the hotel but as my stay progressed I realized it to be busy and safe. Surrounded by malls, restaurants and a grocery nearby. Interesting things to look at near the port a couple blocks away. Overall a comfortable stay. Breakfast available each morning."

"This is a simply amazing place. So traquil and calm, so quiet you can actually hear silence! The owners and staff are so friendly and go out of thier way to help you. the food on site is amazing, home cooked local delicacies. We ate moose, reindeer, salmon whale, lamb ( there are other options too) all booked and cooked directly for you. They were delishoius and served in a restaurant ( and upstairs bar) that have floo to celing windows looking across the fyord. Who needs pictures and TV wehn you have such a vista that changes every 30 seconds We took part in the night mountain treck in show shoes, ice swimming and jaquizi. We saw the northern lights on more than one occassion Despite fantastic transfer options offred by the hotel ( they are much cheaper than other operators) when we go back again we will hire a car to explore a little wider but this was only a minor point on such a fantastic trip I want to thank Maria and her team for making Paulines 60th Birthday trip so special. "This was an amazing apartment that looked like it was newly renovated. Such a beautiful building and nice patio overlooking the water. Had a nice fridge, stove and everything you need to cook yourself. Only stayed one night but this I would highly recommend this spot."

"Booked this 1 hour prior to our stay. What a beautiful new spot very serene and friendly hosts. The space was small, but clean, well kept and had a beautiful balcony/patio to watch sunset. Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot between senja and tromso. Lovely."

"This is a basic & limited hotel with no extra amenities. But it’s clean, friendly welcome, warm with hot showers. Good breakfast. "

"Apartment is pretty, as per the pictures. Unfortunately there is zero noise insulation and you simply cannot be here and relax due to people in the other units coming and going day and night, the latter for northern light trips. There is zero on site support, despite advertising front desk being open during the day. Even before the trip we couldn't get hold of the manager and neither could Hotels.com. No info provided. The manager is slow to get back to any text and doesn't answer his phone. He tried to justify this with the fact he is doing another job. That may be the case but surely he has to give priority to guests. We took up our issues the first night with Hotels.com who again couldn't contact the manager. When he finally became available and spoke to the owner they agreed to refund the whole stay and we left after one night. That's hardly a good thing as we then had to find alternative accomodation but at least the owner took action. I would advise anyone with a booking here to consider staying somewhere else where you can relax, have some peace and quiet and also have some form of present management for any questions or concerns. "
