"Excellent place for a stopover on the way to the alps or south of France, comfortable & convenient. There are 2 restaurants just across the car park, as we stayed here on both legs of our trip we tried both. First was a traditional French restaurant, good food & reasonably priced. Second was a fish restaurant, excellent food & they offered a 15% discount to residents of the hotel. Both were busy with locals, always a good sign."

"Probably the friendliest, most chilled hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff couldn't do enough for you and always very welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful, 16th century building in the old town centre, which is amazing. I was in a room which faced to road so, sometimes, it could be rather noisy, but the streets are very narrow and it's an old building. Only issue I had was a lack of hot water in the evening but it wasn't a major problem. A 2 star hotel which makes up for it in many other ways."

"Great service from all staff. Lovely comfortable beds, slept so well. Great size family rooms and with a seperate WC. Nice and quiet rooms too even though close to a busy road, could not hear traffic noise."

"Great value for money hotel in the centre of Troyes. Extremely friendly welcome from reception lady who was very helpful. Good size double rooms, nice bedding, great bathroom. Parking extra but only 7 EUR, breakfast 10.50 EUR - cold buffet, not a great selection but fresh warm good-quality croissants which were appreciated and nice coffee. "

"Good overnight stop. The guy on reception was very friendly & helpful. Awful night pouring down with rain. Asked him about the restaurant opposite said it wasn’t bad & if you show your B&B card get 15% discount. Good call it was lovely."

"Good stay for the price. Pretty small room with no frills. A bit scruffy, but manageable for a single night stopover. We did have some trouble with the air con not functioning properly, which made for a very warm stay in late August, but at least we were able to leave the window open at times for some air (and road traffic noise). "We have stayed at this hotel a few times en-route to the Alps for skiing. Every time we arrive around midnight and always have problems with the automated reception ATM. The problem is hotels.com DO NOT give the B&B reservation code you need to access your reservation with the ATM...so you are forced to call their helpline in the middle of the night. "Villa facility was very clean although the floor definitely needed to be mopped All communication was in French which is a minus - contact should be multi-lingual or at least in English as well Lack of breakfast was a big minus and local Tabac recommended for breakfasts was very dirty full of tobacco smoke and unclean so we did not eat there"

"We had a happy week in the house. There were plently of activities available. The property was very clean with adequate cooking equipment. We would have liked an additional toilet in the house for the 5 of us ( the property is advertised as accomodating 11 people). Two others are located in the pool and the annex, but not really available during the day."
