Located in the heart of the French Pyrenees, in the Ossau valley, you will find the house “Le Rocher”. Ideally situated, next to the Pyrenees National Park, three ski resorts, the col d’Aubisque & the Spanish border (col du Pourtalet), this location offers a multitude of summer and winter mountain activities.
Just on the outskirts of Beost, in an 8000 sq metre wooded park, “Le Rocher” is an architect house built in the early 1970’s. With its surrounding balcony, double-pitched slate roof, large fireplace and exposed wooden beams, this home is inspired by the traditional Bearnais barns of the region.
Built on a hill, this house’s main architectural feature is its exposed rock formation located on the ground floor. Also featured, is a splendid lounge and dining area with outstanding views on the villages of Laruns and Béost and the surrounding mountains with a direct access onto the terrace and the garden/ grounds. During colder winter months, the warm fireplace (firewood provided) will provide a cosy refuge and the game room on the ground floor (Le Rocher) will allow younger ones to remain entertained.
Recently renovated, “Le Rocher” offers local rustic charm with all the comforts of modern living for the ideal escape (holiday) amongst friends and/or family:

- On the 1st floor: 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom Aubisque (2x90X200cm bed), 2 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms Soulor (140X190cm bed) & Pourtalet ( 140x190cm bed), a separate toilet, living room, dining room & a fully- equipped kitchen.
- On the ground floor: 1 bedroom with en-suite shower with toilet room Ossau (2x90x200 bed) & 1 bedroom Aspe (2x90x190 bed), 1 multipurpose room (Le Rocher) with convertible sofa bed (140x200), a shower room and a separate toilet.
- Wifi available throughout the house & 2 satellite TV’s.
- Extra features: Ping-pong table, trampoline (to be assembled) & foosball table.
- Beds are made on arrival. Towels and bed linen are provided & a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer are available.

Magnifique!
Don't delay, you will be happy here for sure. Plenty of spacious rooms with a relaxing patio / views. Historic town nearby is really nice - plenty of friendly restaurants and activities to choose from. We really enjoyed many of the attractions nearby. The Pyrenees is a great place to relax & explore...perhaps now my favorite! Thank you Boulin Family for your generous hospitality - Rob

The perfect place!
We rented Le Rocher for a small reunion with 3 families. The place met all of our needs. We were close to so many outdoor adventures, cute towns with old world charm, and delicious food. The house was spacious and the beds were so comfortable! The host was attentive to our needs and obviously cares for the place. I would highly recommend.

Rust en ruimte
Ons gezin heeft genoten van de rust en de ruimte die dit mooie huis biedt. In ons geval had iedereen een eigen slaap- en badkamer. De enorme tuin vol privacy geeft de mogelijkheid om op verschillende plekjes in de zon of schaduw te zitten. En de recent aangelegde spa met sauna en jacuzzi (die je tegen extra betaling kunt huren) heeft mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Het huis was iets ouder dan wij hadden verwacht op basis van de foto's, maar goed onderhouden en met nieuwe (of goed gerenoveerde) badkamers en keuken. Alles wat wij nodig hadden was aanwezig. Tot slot ligt het huis op gunstige rij-afstand van bekende bergen voor wandelingen. In het huis liggen boeken en mappen met tips voor mooie wandelingen. Al met al zeker een aanrader!

très belle maison dans la magnifique vallée d'Ossau, magnifiques randonnées à faire dans la région. La maison est confortable, chaleureuse, on s'y sent bien et il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Le calme absolu, un immense jardin, un jacuzzi très agréable après les randonnées toutes fenêtres ouvertes sur la parc au coucher du soleil. Bon restaurant de tapas à 5mn à pieds, marché et supermarché à 5mn en voiture. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire et la personne qui gère le gite, réactifs et arrangeants. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Hemos estado genial.Casa ideal para ir en parejas de amigos y hijos. Espacios amplios. Cocina equipada, solo encontramos en falta unas estigeras de cocina, que seguro k el propietario las repondrá. A nosotros nos ha llovido mucho de los días por lo k el spa ha estado genial tenerlo, la sauna no nos supieron explicar bien como funcionaba, la chica k vino a penas nos entendíamos con el idioma. A parte de estos pequeños detalles, recomendaría esta casa a amigos y repetiría. Gracias

Très belle maison, fonctionnelle, calme, esseulée avec un grand parking pour accueillir plusieurs véhicules. La région est magnifique pour le ski, les balades et la randonnée. La demeure est juste sublime. Tout est la pour passer une suberbe semaine en famille ou les enfants peuvent profiter du très grand parc. La région est top et les activités y sont nombreuses. Vacances rando entre amis
Super séjour passé entre couple d’amis avec enfants. Le logement est très fonctionnel et idéalement placé pour partir à la découverte de cette région en randonnant ou à vélo pour les plus courageux 😁. Seul regret : ne pas avoir pu profiter du superbe jardin et de la terrasse pour dîner à cause de la météo capricieuse en soirée 😅.

Un séjour magnifique
C’est la première fois que nous réservions avec Abritel. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette sublime maison. Nous étions 10 et nous n’avons pas manqué de places. Le parking extérieur permet d’accueillir plusieurs véhicules et la maison est parfaitement équipée. La maison est située à quelques minutes de Laruns en voiture ce qui est très pratique pour faire les courses, acheter du pain, prendre la navette etc… Nous sommes allé skier tout les jours à gourette en stationnant au parking du bas. L’accès à la station depuis la maison est simple (navette à laruns ou voiture). La maison était propre et les instructions simples. Nous reviendront sans hésiter l’année prochaine.

Grande maison idéale pour toute la famille, nous étions 12 en tout avec 4 enfants, dont 2 en bas âge ; petit bémol: pas de table à langer pour le tout- petit, mais sinon , vraiment tout était parfait! la vue magnifique, le calme, les arbres, le parc, l'accès aux promenades et randonnées très proches. le village de Beost était en fête cette semaine et c'était très sympathique! la région est magnifique!
