Ricketts Glen Fern View Cabin

Our cabin is a great location to be close to the Ricketts Glen waterfalls and to also relax in the woods. We have a beautiful covered porch to sit and unwind. If you would rather enjoy a nice fire. We have a rustic field stone fire pit.

Perfect little getaway
This was a great place for a little getaway and very close to Ricketts Glen. Very peaceful in the woods with privacy. We will definitely book again when we return. Host was great and made everything feel like home. Thank you!

We stayed here for 2 days. The cabin is pretty new and clean. We were here to visit Ricketts State Park. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Cabin was very clean, had ample cooking supplies, wifi worked great. It was conveniently located to the lower part of the ricketts glen hiking trail. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect getaway.
This was the perfect place to stay for hiking the falls. Jeff had all the essentials there (TP, paper towels, coffee maker) so it made for less to pack. Location is amazing and the property is so pretty. We will be back for sure!

Nice Stay and Hike
Great location to the park. The cabin smells great and is very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and playing cards then we cooked over the open fire. Its only a 10 minute drive to the big parking lots for really easy access to the waterfalls. Only issue is that it can really only sleep 5. Luckily we brought a cot to fit the 6th person. If the coach was a sleeper sofa it would be perfect.

First I have to say that the pictures don't do the property justice. It's great ! Cute , cozy , clean and comfortable. Very convenient to Ricketts Glen State Park and Lake Jean . I highly recommend this rental and would love to visit again . Jeff , the host , was extremely responsive.

Fern view cabin
We loved the site. Beautiful little ferns everywhere. We spent 2-3 hours at the outdoor fire pit every evening. Log cabin was so cute and fun. Only problem...there were ants that showed up every evening. We bought some ant traps and put them in cabin.

Super convenient location to ricketts glen trails
The cabin is great. My husband, me and our 2 doggos stayed 2 nights. The host is super responsive and we were 1 mile from the glenns parking area. It's also convenient to get to the other side of the park out 487. There's a deer path behind the cabin where I took the pups each morning before we got out to hike. The only thing that would be nice is if there were bed linens and towels. That's a lot extra to pack when you've got gear, food and dog essentials... Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Perfect Getaway
Property is beautiful. There are cabins nearby, but they are far enough away to feel like you’re tucked away from everything. The cabin is small, but really the perfect size for doing what you need. Everything you could really need is provided, the only thing you should bring is blankets/sheets, personal items, and food. There is firewood for purchase on the property, picnic table, and grill. Plenty of seating by fire pit and on the porch. Even a little trail to walk. Owner is very responsive. Very close to Rickett’s Glen. It should also be noted that there is phone service at this location, but I don’t think there is wifi (I could be wrong though.) We had an enjoyable experience here and would 100% come back again!

Wonderful little cabin. Secluded but easy access to the park. Owner, Jeff, really great guy and helpful! Very clean and comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our vist and would easily return if in area.

The best honeymooon
We loved everything about the cabin. It was clean, homey, secluded, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the setting, bbqing on the grill and relaxing around the campfire. We have recommended this place and want to come back again.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods
We just loved this house! It looked brand new and was impeccably clean. A lot of thought went into the outside area as well with a giant fire pit, available wood, and lots of chairs. We also enjoyed the spacious porch. Jeff is an excellent host and very responsive.
