"For what I paid for one night, it was good value. The motel is decades old, but has been renovated and the room was comfortable, clean and we had a good night's sleep. It's on a main road, so a bit noisy but okay after 10 pm. The pool and grounds were perfect. It's very well taken care of. We were asked for $100 deposit which they charged me for immediately. "Very central property. Walking distance to shops, dining and beaches. Transport was right at your doorstep if you didn’t have your own. Rooms were large, clean, very tidy, had everything you needed. Complex was wonderful, several pools, games room for the children, sauna, spa pool.. all in all a wonderful stay. "

"Its a old property, with all the things you need for the stay. Location is the key here, our room had 3 ways view to the ocean, suana and pool was available to use, so enjoyed the stay. Cleanlinesswise it was ok, as there was beach sand on chairs and sofa."

Rooms were well equipped but a little tired (property is 17 years old), although the price we paid reflected this so no complaints!"

"The building is close to the beach The bed feels like you a rolling off the side, slops from the middle to the edge"

"Apartment itself was excellent however did have a few problems with parking on arrival as our suv did not squeeze into parking bay - then told by staff that we couldn't park in visitors parking bays as 4 hr limits. Upon inspection next day I noticed one side of parking bay had a temporary side consisting of wire/posts and that one post was bent inwards thus minimising width."

The area around has construction work for the tram extension, and this will provide an even better experience down the track. Close to the beach and the room provided a spectacular view. "

"Hotel is located in a very convenient area, short walk to beach and main shopping mall. Also close to light rail. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Only con was that even though the main bedroom had block out blinds the light was still very bright in the morning as light came in around the sides and top of blinds. "Our family of four loved staying here. The staff were lovely and the pool facilities were great. Always fresh towels and loungers available. We made use of the restaurants too which was fabulous for the kids when they were tired. The buffet breakfast is amazing! Nice and close to the beach too. We paid to use their carpark too which I recommend as it is less hassle. The room was spacious and comfortable beds. "

"The hotel staff check in was very friendly. He gave us a free upgrade. He explained all the house rules and gave us directions for the nearest supermarket. The room we got had a great view which we enjoyed. The main bedroom was facing the main road which i found to be noisy at night as i can hear people and cars throughout the night. I don't know if the floor was vacuummed as my feet got very dirty after walking on bare feet in the apartment and there was no vacuum cleaners for me to do any floor cleaning myself. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay and the location was great."
