Nice hotel but poorly trained staff
Fridge in room didn't work & internet was not provided even though these were some of the amenities advertised. They sent a front desk staff who came, fiddled with fridge, but it never worked.
Room was booked for 2 people, but they only gave me one towel. When I asked for a 2nd towel, they refused. We got into an argument before they reluctantly gave me a 2nd one.
Breakfast was included in the price but when we came downstairs for br'fast, they said only one person could have breakfast, even tough the room was booked for 2 people. Didn't want to argue anymore so I just let it be. They proceeded to charge me a fee for taking the breakfast to go eat in my room
The staff have no phone etiquette, they would pick up the phone, but be carrying on a conversation with someone else & you're left waiting for them to finish & answer you.
When they eventually talk to you, they just talk as if they're talking on the street, no professionalism, no greetings or businesslike intro or even mention their name. Then when they finish, they hang up without any proper closing or byes, they just hang up abruptly. For this, I blame the management, b'cos I believe these staff have never received any training on how to answer phones.
The facility was very neat & nice, but those running the place are doing a horrible job. It would be an excellent place if the staff were better trained & if they would let you know that even if you book a room for 2, you'll only get amenities for 1 person.
