Great Accommodation!

The rental was very clean and well equipped. It is located very close to the Elk Visitor's Center as well as several elk viewing sites. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Our friends intend to rent this house for a week this coming Summer.

Wonderful!

The rental was perfect for me, my husband and his parents who had never been to Benezette. The location was near all the look out areas and the visitors center. Highly recommend! We hope to visit again soon.

Elk Country Hideaway weekend in Benezette PA

We had a very pleasant and peaceful weekend with excellent accommodations. The home was very comfortable and clean and thoughtfully well stocked. Great location for elk and turkey viewing. We are hoping to return next year.

Time away with inlaws

My wife and I took her mother and stepdad to see the Elk for their Christmas gift. We saw elk and had a great time. The house was very clean and close to the viewing areas. Would stay there again.

Really great location

Really nice secluded property. All amenities were provided and made our stay almost effortless. One update needed are more comfortable matresses, especially for older couples. Hoping that will be considered before our stay next year.

Working in the Area

We were a company working in the area for a few days. The house was perfect for housing our crew nestled right in the middle of Elk country. Home is well kept and clean. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area to enjoy the wildlife.

Peaceful Getaway

We love the Hideaway, it’s away from everything. It’s secluded away from the road, neighbors, and it provides a quiet getaway. Its location is close enough to the elk viewing areas and the visitor center. We were hoping to see some elk in the yard, but they were busy elsewhere at this time. The Hideaway was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need from home.

Convenient and secluded

Quick access to elk locations. Second time renting. Great viewing of elk. Suggestion to put another chair/recliner in living room and to check the main bathroom slow flushing of toilet. Will rent again. Just a suggestion for a restaurant to serve some type of breakfast in the area at least during this popular viewing season.

What a perfect location ! Quiet, secluded but easy to get to popular spots. Our grandchildren loved sittting around the campfire telling ghost stories after a busy day. The house had everything we needed. No elk but had other wildlife venture thru. Hope to book again soon .

Relaxing Respite

This was our first time visiting Benezette. It was such an enjoyable getaway. Within ten minutes of our arrival, a large bull elk walked along the edge of the property! It was so exciting! Each day we had success seeing elk; both at the viewing spots and the visitor center. Check-in went smoothly. The house and property were great. It was very quiet. My mother was having some health problems and she found the house to be very conducive to relaxation. Everything was provided for; there were plenty of dishes and towels. The house was very clean and the water was hot. We've already decided that if we return to this area, we will definitely try to rent this house again. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this property. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Secluded Getaway

Beautiful lodge. Right in the middle of elk viewing. Very clean. Saw many deer and turkies on the property. Will definitely book again to stay there next year. Have nothing bad to say about staying there. Was a perfect getaway.

Elk County Stay

Loved the house and the location. The only thing we wished could be improved is going from the driveway to the house. There is no path to the house, or parking right by the house. It rained every day, so you had to walk through wet grass to get to the driveway.

mountain escape

love the location of the home. easy to find. it felt like home inside. we had a great weekend- a much needed break. couple things were the furnace is very loud- hard to sleep in the master. and, the driveway was very thick with ice and the little bit of stones that were put down didn't do much to help. just think that the driveway could have been better prepared knowing guests were coming. i didn't worry about myself or my husband but the couple with us are a little older and we were concerned for them. we would come back again- saw lots of elk!
