Cabin is equipped with a "whole house" generator by Generac; never be without power again!!

Picnic area for entertaining or relax on the covered back porch and enjoy fantastic views of the water and mountains. Yearly Benezette stay
Loved property but bed on ground level off to right needs serious help. Only saw 1 elk which was disappointing. Otherwise, a good time was had by all.

Perfect getaway
House was awesome. Very clean, great property and amenities. Had elk in the yard all afternoon, overnight and early in the morning still. That was the best part!!! There were 16 cows and one bull. Another bull walked through the following morning. This will be our only option to stay in future visits. Thanks so much.

Mountain Holiday Weekend Vacation.
The cabin and location is perfect for a mountain get a way. The cabin is clean, rustic and cozy. Located stream side.. we enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the water. The cabin is also near other other activities ; hiking , elk watching , fly fishing and a little wine tasting. We enjoyed all.

Once again a wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time even though the weather was rainy and the elk did not have much of a show. As always we enjoyed our stay. Will love to book again for next year.

Beautiful home nestled in the perfect location.
Our family had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful location. We enjoyed walks on the property and the view of the river from the deck. The best part was having coffee and watching the elk from the dining room window in the morning. We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful home and property. We hope to come back and stay again

Weekend Getaway
This was a great place to stay. Had some deer in the yard and did some fishing in the stream. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing sitting by the fire and glad for the big porch for the rainy day. It was a great time had by all and we're looking forward to our next stay!!

Loved the property and house
We absolutely loved the property. Our boys enjoyed playing sports in the fields along with running with our dog. We saw 3 large bulls (elk) in the front yard one morning, which was awesome. It is also close to everything you need and want to visit in Benezette. The house was clean and homey. We plan to stay again next year!

Great stay
As advertised and connsitent with previous reviews. Cabin and property is well maintained. Very nice kitchen that is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fishing Bennetts Branch was good for trout just outside the back door. Lots of deer each evening. Did not see elk on the property during our stay but you don't have to go far to see. Suggest stopping by the small general store just a few miles away as well as the small local shop. All of the locals we talked to were so nice. Will definitely book again.

Perfect Getaway
This trip was a surprise gift for my in-laws. They never vacation and love the town of Benezette. They had had wonderful time and were thankful to be able to disconnect from work for a few days. They loved the front porch and sat there every morning and evening.

More than we could ask for!!
Loved this place! Everything about it was relaxing, fun, picture perfect! Saw an elk in the front yard the first day. Caught fish and crawfish. Loved the views!!! The house is just unbelievable!! Loved every minute and wish we could have stayed longer. The memories we created are going to last a lifetime.

I’m a wildlife photographer and we are in the area 2-3 times a year. We will definitely be returning. Pros: Great location and privacy. The master bed was comfortable, LR furniture is nice, kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of towels and wash rags. Nice to have the creek just steps away. Cons: Can use a good cleaning.

What a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoors. The owners have taken every consideration for the guest and made our stay awesome. This house is very well equipped in every room. From Wi-Fi to generator, from kitchen to laundry and to porch I was impressed. Most enjoyable was viewing the stream from the porch. I an anxious to return.

Peaceful Setting
Myself and three adult daughters spent 3 nights at this location. Its located off the main road near the creek surrounded by the mountains. The back covered porch overlooking the stream was our hangout. We only left the cabin one time. Had a nice fire in the fire pit one night. We were able to see two cow elk and their two calves in the stream cooling off. We all agreed on coming back next year.

We enjoyed the tranquil setting along the stream. Beds were great. Very clean yet quaint. We are returning in the fall with horses. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. Had elk wondering close to the property and deer across the stream. Kayaked on the stream..

Family extended weekend
We had the most amazing long weekend at this property. Owners are so kind and we had no issues what-so-ever with this property. We spent a fun day playing in the crystal clear stream beside the house. One morning we woke up to a huge bull elk grazing in the yard and another night cooking out over the fire and a female elk came to visit. It has only been a week since we left and we all miss it already. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for the first time. House was nice. Only complaint was our bed. The middle was flat but then slanted to the floor on each side. So you felt like you were going to fall out. Terrible. We didn’t get to spend much time outside because it rained the entire day. But inside the home was beautiful.

A wonderful celebration
We absolutely loved our stay. This is the kind of cabin that just allows you to breathe a little slower and take it easy! We had our 4 children with us celebrating our oldest turning 16. The guys all tried to do a bit of fishing but it was a rather rainy day. Even with the weather being a bit unfavorable, we had an amazing time. It is a special place to spend time with family. We would absolutely love to spend another weekend at this cabin soon! I would certainly recommend it to anyone who would like to escape from the world for a bit! The cabin was beautifully clean and very well stocked up with everything that we needed.
