This lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath single level home is recently remodeled and comfortably decorated. Tumalo Retreat is on a large private lot that is steps away from the Deshutes River and a block away from great food, coffee, and beer. This home features:

This home is in an ideal location, allowing you to explore much of Central Oregon without spending the majority of your time driving. There is access to countless outdoor activities just outside our back door. Tumalo State Park is less then a mile away, offering an endless amount of outdoor activities. Explore Mt Bachelor, see the head of the Metolius River, enjoy the High Desert Museum, go on epic bike rides and hike magestic peaks. The Deschutes River is also just steps away and offers great fishing, floating and kayaking.

There is great food, beer, and coffee just a minutes walk down the street. The Bite — a great hangout with rotating taps, food trucks, and games — is just a block away, while the Tumalo Coffee house is just across the street.

This home was completely remodeled in the Spring of 2015 and includes a new kitchen, stainless steel appliances, new floors and new countertops. The living area is an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area and living room plus an adjoining sitting area. The bathrooms are also newly remodeled and feature a combination tub/shower in the master bathroom, and a walk-in shower and laundry in the 2nd bathroom.

Great stay!
This was the perfect stay for my small family to get away have our peace and quiet while visiting other family in Bend. Very conveniently located and very clean and easy to access right off the freeway. The photos don’t do it justice! Lots of room!

Great Vacation
It was wonderful being able to visit with my mom and dad in a home setting versus a hotel. We were able to sit and relax, and make a meal together and it was wonderful, will definitely be returning.

Tumalo retreat
This place was centrally located to the activities we wanted to do and people we were going to see. It was clean, cute and had a few little quirks that were no big deal. Whoever we communicated with were quick to respond and address our needs. Would definitely stay again!

More than you expect
This is a fantastic property in terms of comfort and space. It easily sleeps 2 parties of 2 privately and there is an additional day bed for another and a generous sofa. If u have kids, the second bedroom has 2 Queen beds. Also, very well finished and comfortable with a full kitchen and little outdoor eating space. We enjoyed our stay. It could have used a light clean as it was dusty and there was some dirt on the floor, but overall very very nice.

Wonderful Place to Relax!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tumalo Retreat! The house is so warm and inviting, with many personal touches that made it a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The shower was awesome; having two bathrooms was a nice amenity for my girls and me, especially since we had been traveling together for two weeks. Both bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. We loved the decor, and the layout made great use of the space. Tumalo was just far enough from the busy city of Bend to offer a quiet and restful respite, but still close enough to be able to travel back and forth easily. I'm sorry we weren't able to sample a meal from the food trucks down the street! My girls and I loved our time here!!

The house was exactly what the pictures showed and more! The place was very clean! I love how open this home is. The location is prime. Just minutes from downtown bend! I only have good things to say about this home. Alex was easy to communicate with and very accommodating when I had changes to our stay! We will absolutely be back :)

Great house and location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location not too far from Bend. The house is furnished very nicely and very well stocked. Was very nice to have two bathrooms. Owner was responsive to any questions we had. It was hot when we were there so the house was a little warm at night so we left the windows open which caused us to hear some road noise. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to the area.

Home away from home
What a great place to use as a homebase to explore the Bend and Sisters area. Home is welcoming, nicely decorated, clean, and well equipped. Beds are comfy, and the huge shower was great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Beautiful home in great location
We truly enjoyed our stay in Tumalo Retreat. The home was clean, nicely decorated with full amenities. Within walking distance to great restaurants with a gas station/mini-mart across the street. We enjoyed exploring the mountains nearby. I only wish we had more time to stay!

Newly renovated and exceptionally clean. Beautiful kitchen stocked with plenty of utensils and cooking equipment. Large dining table and open floor plan with lots of light. Short walk to an excellent bakery and great food trucks. Nice park on the Deschutes River close by.

We so much liked this place and house!
It was great Christmas vacation!!! The house is very nice and comfortable and there is everything you need to enjoy your stay here. We had an extra heater in the kid’s bedroom so it was warm and nice inside even if it was cold and windy outside! Tumalo is very close to Bend and it took us 7-10 min drive to get to the huge shopping plaza with Trader Joe’s, Target, World Market and many more... We came here to snowboard at the mt. Bachelor but we also had time to hike and explore the different parks. It’s a great place to enjoy the nature)) Btw the owners are very nice and friendly people. Ones again thank you so much for everything!!!

The cottage was as advertised and more. The kitchen is amazing, and the home is stocked with all the appliances you could need for a relaxing stay. Great location, two outdoor cafe tables, and a lovely, well-fenced backyard good for any size pup.
