Serenity with a view

This house never disappoints. We’ve stayed here before and it’s always been a great experience with the property owner. Houses well stocked and spacious offering everyone their own space. The view of Mt. Bachelor is so breathtaking on a clear day! We will stay here again for sure.

Perfect for our large family

Vanessa's property at Three Rivers was perfect for our large family's annual gathering. Beautiful views and river access, large lawns for games and running the dogs (and water gun wars) and private & quiet spaces for reading and visiting. Best of all, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and feed everyone. We definitely hope to come back in the future.

Amazing place!

This property is a great vacation place. It has a great view of Mt. Bachelor, quick access to the river and a huge backyard. This location was the perfect spot to have a large gathering. The house was fully equipped and then some. Communication with the host was great, she was very responsive and helpful. Highly recoomend it!

Respite from the heat in Texas!

Big house which fit our family of 12 very nicely! First few days were a bit colder than we expected but enjoyed visiting the many local sites! Last few days were a lot warmer and the kids (and adults) enjoyed floating the Little Duschutes! ! Great family time!

Family reunion At Weeping Willow Lodge

This property has been the best we havehad in our 8 years of family reunions. It is almost perfect for6 adults,3 teens, one child and 3 dogs! Huge fenced yard,well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for get togethers/ games or just some isolation. That said, for the price, there should be a few more amenities...hammock and a couple of kayaks would be fantastic. We plan to return next year!

Family Reunion

Roomy 5 BR with great access to the Little Deshutes River. Accommodated 13 people with enough privacy throughout 3 levels. Only drawbacks were: the hot tub was too cool and the water too low to use (also very old), sprinklers went on around 9: 45 am and we had to time our walk to the dock between the moving rain birds, and no foil or film wrap in an otherwise well equipped kitchen.

We are hooked on this property for vacation.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was even better than the first time. The kitchen is VERY well stocked and we really enjoyed cooking in it. The deck at the river made it easy to get in and out. There are definitely enough places in the house for everyone to hang out together. The lawn is spectacular and the location is perfect. The last time we went we hardly left the property because we enjoyed it there so much - the same thing happened this time. I only wish we would have booked it for longer. I can't recommend this house enough.

The house was better than advertised, and bigger than the pictures suggested. Plenty of space for our family vacation (7 adults, 6 kids). Everyone was able to gather together in the main room/kitchen and also had their own space upstairs or downstairs. Great yard, awesome view. The house was located conveniently within 30 mins of Bend as well as many outdoor activities. The water issue was clearly stated in the property description, and that was our only complaint. So we didn’t drink the water, and just bought some bottled water and made it work. We would 100% visit again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful

This house and the property were amazing. The kids loved the yard, the river, the pingpong table and the three year old couldn't get enough of the Foos Ball. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, herbs and spices. There was so much room the older kids could have their own bedrooms. We rented this so our kids and grandkids could attend a family wedding with us. We only had the weekend but wished we'd booked the space for longer. Would love to return, especially earlier in the year so we could use the fire pit.

Beautiful place to have a small wedding

We just finished our stay at the Whispering Willow Lodge and we had the greatest time spending the weekend with close family and friends. We even got the opportunity to have our small, intimate, 40 person wedding and we truly couldn’t have picked a better place to have the wedding of our dreams! Inside the house and the surrounding property was PERFECT for us to all spread out and be able to spend time together. Vanessa, the property manager, was so great at responding and answering questions in a timely manner for the past year that I have been planning our wedding. We were able to rent items from her which was tremendously helpful seeing that this was a destination wedding. We hope to bring our future children back to this incredible house one day. This VRBO will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Bend weekend trip

House was large and had plenty of space for entertaining. House might be on a well because the water smelled a little odd. Also, this is out of their control, but the mosquitos were VERY BAD. We didn't really even go outside because when you stepped out back they were everywhere. Advice, bring a lot of bug spray. House and owner were great though.

Perfect Home Away from Home

Our extended family spent Christmas in this lovely home! It was a perfect setting for our family of 11 - everyone had plenty of space to play separately or together. We were able to get 11 adults around 1 kitchen table and there was another table in the kitchen for 4 more - which we had designated as the “jigsaw puzzle table”. There are 3 living rooms to satisfy everyone for games, tv programs or conversation. Loved the 3 car garage to house vehicles and the kitchen is very well stocked regarding cooking utensils, pot/pans, plates etc. Beds were comfortable and there was climate control on each level.Ten minute drive to Sunriver Village for ice skating or shopping. Plenty of room to store your ski gear at the house too! Will definitely return this summer!

Wispering Willow Lodge

As a whole, we were very pleased with the location and layout of the property. It bedrooms and baths suited our needs quite well with 6 adults, two teens and one infant. The kitchen, while fairly small for a large group was very workable and very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and kitchen tools needed for cooking, grilling, etc. On the downside, the hot tub was never hot and given the temperature outside that was probably good, but it should have been hotter than just luke warm. The propane tank ran out on our last night and have to believe that it was not full to start. Next, the dishwasher would not properly dissolve the "pods" provided so we had to cut them open and extract the powder to get dishes clean. Suggest you convert to powder! Lastly, the host never had personnel contact or called to see if there was anything we needed. We did get a text about a fire that was close by, but that was all. I don't want to be picky because Vanessa was great when I had questions when making the reservations and after, but it would have been nice to have touched bases. All in all, it was great and we plan on tryiing to reserve again for next year!!

July 4th family gathering

The property is beautiful and a perfect place for family and friends to gather. The location is private yet close to local attractions. We experienced some issues with the bbq not working properly. Also, basement toilet would not flush very good. There was damage (broken) to a ceiling light fixture in the bonus room upstairs. Grandchildren threw a pillow that hit the light, causing breakage. Let me know how to resolve the issue. Overall, we had an awesome gathering and hoping to be there again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the beautiful home.
