A perfect place, just a 10 minute walk from downtown via the Deschutes River Trail right at your back door. Very clean, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchenette, and nice chairs for tv watching. Loved it!
The property was perfect- nothing fancy but right on the water and right on the bike path and not far from everything- we jumped on our bikes and toured around- ate at Sen (too expensive but right on the water)!
We were in Bend for a late May music concert and had a great time exploring the area from this ideally located rental cabin. We enjoyed the river walk, Prairie Park, and bird-watching from the outdoor area at the cabin. Also, only a short walk to downtown Bend for shopping, dining and drinking. The cabin was comfortable and clean.
I especially enjoyed having a kitchenette to prepare my own food. I sat on the Patio in the evenings to listen to the river and watch 2 Canada geese going about their business. It's a very well- appointed unit, my only suggestion is to put the toaster within reach. I loved the fireplace.
What a wonderful expirence! We loved everything about this property! The porch with river view == A++, the Swimming Pool == A++, the kitchen, the cleanliness was excellernt. Super quiet area, excellent parking very close to room. Staff was always super friendly and helpful. Beautiful neighborhood. This was truely a 10 out of 10 expirence for us. Recommend!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not what expected.
The property was bare bones, no floor lamp, no area carpet on vinyl floor. Shower head produced a very weak spray. Outside patio was a bit dangerous with loose pavers, very old air conditioner which kept us awake.
The property was perfect for me and my husband. You are right on the Deschutes River Trail. The photos you see from the back window are exactly what it looks like. It is a short 10 minute walk to downtown via the trail, where there are tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. The property management group was great to work with. I called them about possibly checking in a little early. They got back with me quickly and we were able to get in early. Very nice place to stay! Highly recommend!

Disliked: Amenities
My husband and I love the Deschutes, and we were looking forward to staying at a property on the River-but this rental was a disappointment for the most part. The facility is dated-with some nice upgrades-but mostly cosmetic fixes. The shower strength was laughable, and the cabinets in the “kitchen” area were old/cheap. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced in a VRBO property. But the most disappointing was the heat pump directly beneath our window-so when we wanted to crack the window at night to listen to the River, all we could hear was the noise from the heat pump!! I would not recommend this property.
We love the location, it was really nice being able to walk right down to the river. It’s close to town and we were able to walk and get coffee in the morning. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a five star is the bathroom was a little dirty by the tub, and it would really benefit from having a full length mirror. There is no way to see how you look when you’re dressed up to go out. Maybe a small dresser would be helpful as well. There is no place to put clothing except keeping it in your suitcase.
