Enjoy Lake Life on Big Bass Lake, Bemidji MN

The Lake house is the perfect place to relax & enjoy what Minnesota has to offer with family & friends. The property is located 25' off the shore of Big Bass Lake on the east side of Bemidji. Close to Bemidji State Park & Bemidji Town and Country Club golf course.

Summer activities in the area include swimming, fishing right off the dock, kayaking, boating, and sitting by the fire enjoying the lake view. This property is also a winter wonderland with ice fishing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.

The main floor features the kitchen, dining & sitting room, living room with a queen-size futon, 1 bedroom with queen-size & twin-size beds, and 1 full bath. The second floor features a master bedroom suite with a king bed and full-size futon. The master bath has a tile shower and double sink vanity. The second floor also has a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a bath, and a living room that has a comfy loveseat and a game table. The home has 3 decks 2 with lake views.

This is a beautiful property. The home is private and inviting. Sitting lakeside watching the sunset in front of a fire 10' from the lakeshore is my favorite place to be.

Firewood is available for your convenience. 2 kayaks & a paddle board are available for guests to use. We have a small charcoal grill stored in the Kayak Barn and a flat stone grill located lakeside.

The calendar is kept up to date. If your dates are available feel free to use the "Book now" feature on VRBO. We will confirm your reservation after we receive your booking.

May1 - June 30 - 3 day minimum stay.
July 1 - August 15 - 5 day minimum stay.
August 16 - September 30 - 3 day minimum stay.
October 1 - April 30 - 2 day minimum stay.

The home was lovely and welcoming. The lake was even better. It’s a quiet lake with lots to do nearby. We hiked state parks. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base.

Perfect Spot
Awesome house on the lake. Very peaceful and quiet lake. We enjoyed the fire pit and the house was very clean and everything was in great shape. A short drive from Bemidji and it worked out perfectly for our group. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great place to spend time with our children and grandchildren! Beautiful home and beautiful views! We had so much fun, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, s’mores over the fire pit, grilling and so much more. The home was absolutely perfect for our group of 9 people.

This rental exceeded all expectations with large fully equipped kitchen, outside grill and griddle, wood for fire outside, 3 kayaks, spacious for our family reunion including a few extra guests for meal which easily accommodated 12 . Wonderful experience for visiting Bemidji as first timers. Will definitely come again and hope to get this rental again!!

Memorial Weekend '23
Beautifully presented house/cabin. Perfect for our family getaway. Private waterfront access to a lovely clear lake, with Kayaks and a paddleboard to play with. Cooking breakfast on the Blackstone grill looking over the lake, is definitely one of many highlights. Will be going back again at the first available opportunity.

Beautiful cabin with everything we needed.
Newly remodeled and very clean cabin. Plenty of space for our family. We used the kayaks and paddle board and caught fish right off the dock. New black stone flattop grill was a nice surprise which we used 3 nights. No issues came up that needed the host. We will likely return.

Our family had a fantastic time. There were 6 of us. Plenty of room. Distance from the lake was great. The fishing was so good. Caught plenty of keepers right off the dock. Small lake, but not busy. Plenty of room for tubing and waterskiing. Kitchen was well stocked with any appliance or items you might need. Wood definitely stay again.

A perfect family getaway
We booked this property on short notice. Theresa was SO accommodating. The property is gorgeous. We loved the privacy of the property. You wouldn’t even know there were neighbors. The private boat slip was convenient and the home is near the public water access. They have everything you need for water fun (including a wide variety of life jackets). We enjoyed visiting Lake Bemidji State Park, which is very close. You will love your stay if you rent this home.

Place was beautiful. Lots of room. Right by waters edge. Plenty of beach chairs and outdoor equipment. If I had to say a negative it would be water was little yellow. But they had a small fridge with water and cans of pop. And lots of kitchen and bathroom towels. Will definitely stay here again.

Our family of 8, enjoyed every moment of our ten day stay. Theresa and Luke, fabulous/accommodating hosts. The lake was beautiful and clear with assorted lake toys for young and old. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, kayaking, campfires, gorgeous sunsets, viewing a variety of wildlife, hikes and the list could go on. The house itself was clean and modern. Our group spent a lot of time outdoors and this house had beautiful woodsy landscaping and seating on three sides of the home. We had room for entertaining family and friends. It was simply a great family vacation, great location and easy access for day excursions. Sad to leave and highly recommend.

Amazing property and amazing views!
We absolutely loved our time at this amazing property. I have never been at a rental home/kitchen that was so well stocked with everything you could need to host family dinners, cook meals together, spend time around the fire, kayak, fish off the dock, the list goes on and on. My daughter caught bass right off the dock! The kayak barn was a treasure trove of kids toys, firewood, marshmallow sticks, and extra life jackets. The decor and finishing touches within the house are exactly as they look in the photos and are stunning. Amazing views from all the windows facing the lake - it was the perfect vacation. The only thing it needs is laundry, and we would probably rent if for the entire summer. We loved our time and hope to visit again soon!

The house was very nice for 2 families to stay - bedrooms had an extra bed/futon for kids and extra bathrooms. The fall colors and location are beautiful. The kids enjoyed running in the yard. The access to the lake is a pretty steep drop off.

Cutest Lake Home!
From the moment we pulled in the drive-the cutest lake home! Very spacious yet cozy! Little decorative touches made you feel like coming home to your own cabin! Perfect for our sister weekend! Unfortunately we could not enjoy the provided wood for a fire due to windy Mother Nature! The wind did give us a few scares as it knocked over the garbage cans a couple times. A quick 15min drive into town. We all wished we could have stayed longer!
