"We enjoyed very much the Sicilian food at breakfast and the wonderful evening meals. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the company at meals was splendid. The room could have been more comfortable but it was early in the year. Had we come later we would have been able to sit outside and enjoy the pretty courtyard. We had a memorable stay and a real taste of Sicilian cuisine and lifestyle."

"Interesting “hobbit house” like cottages in the countryside on a working farm. The set up and surroundings were beautiful. We had dinner “50 euro for two people” and breakfast 5 Euro. Dinner was delicious, ample and came with local wine. We bought two bottles of their olive oil. Breakfast was OK. Both were served by the father who wasnt unfriendly, but perhaps may be getting tired of the tourism business??? We also had trouble finding the place. "Beautiful secluded location, nice pool and friendly dogs. Rooms are spacious and clean. The difficult part was checking in, especially if you dont have cellular reception. The intercom at the gate was broken and the owner could not hear our car horn honking, after about 10 min he heard us and opened the front gate. The owner is friendly and pleasant."

"Never felt the need to write a bad review before. Not getting sleep for nights because of 3 constant barking farm dogs literally next to the apartment made us. The renting neighbors had the same problem. Earplugs weren't enough. After several sleepless nights we reached out to the property manager. His answer on our message was: You're not in the city center you're at a farm!!! I spare you the details of the later on rude communication from his side. His solution was to place the dogs...

"Very pleasant stay in this B & B in a beautiful country setting - about 10 kilometers from Plazzolo Acredide, an interesting hill town that does not get much tourism. The B & B owner was very helpful in recommending things to see and places to eat. You need a car to get to this place, and it is not easy to find. Be sure to make a copy of the driving directions and bring them with you. No internet access. Good breakfast. This is a good place to stay if you want to get off the beaten track...

"The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. "The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing sites to see and places to eat. Since there’s limited driving in the area they try as much as possible to arrange parking and transportation. The room and hotel is very unique with art and architecture. They provided a great bottle of red wine for being a VIP on Expedia. They also provided free cocktails for us once during our stay and free drinks from the room refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious. The only con was that the shower was small but I guess that is typical with a historic building. The terraces overlooking the water were fantastic. Ortigia is one of best cities to see in Sicily and Henry’sHotel is the place to stay."

"Nice hotel. Comfortable and clean. Great staff. WiFi is not good. I selected this hotel because it advertised high-speed internet which I needed for a business meeting. It was terrible- I could not open some necessary pages. I had Zoom with no camera to reduce bandwidth and the transmission was still “garbled” both ways. "

"Great hotel once you get to property. Not the best area around it, over ran and dirty, but property other than beach is nice. Restaurant was great! Beds are very comfortable. "
