"Very nice clean hotel , near bus stops and local pub, very filling breakfast.I would point out, however that there is no lift and if you are on the second floor there a quite a few stairs so if your mobility is not good consider asking for a ground floor room"

"I really loved this place! It's full of character, very welcoming, utterly charming. I was surprised to receive a full English breakfast, and was impressed that they are fully prepared to offer gluten-free options! My room was small, but it's exactly what I booked, and everything worked. I even had a little balcony! And I had a lovely hour sitting out in the little courtyard with a Devon cider (which the hotel sells), reading and listening to the tinkling water in the little fountain. I'd come to Exeter again just to stay here!!!"
