"We arrived at 16:15 after a 7 hour journey to find the entrance door locked and no lights seen inside and no sign of anyone about. We waited about 15 minutes then decided we needed to go elsewhere to stay and rest. The hotel sent me a text message in the evening asking me to contact them for information on Registration !!!! A notice on the door said that the hotel restaurant was closed for a period that included our night stop. It would have been nice to have known this at the time of booking as it would have affected our choice of venue."

"Clean, tidy, easy to find and conveniently situated just off the main road. No frills budget hotel for a stop over while driving through France. People were nice, breakfast was great overall very good for the price can recommend if you just need a quick stop "

"Unfortunately this is the worst Kyriad we have stayed in. It is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con wouldn’t work, and it was very warm in the room but unfortunately noisy with the window open, which we had to endure, no kettle, not enough towels. The rooms are very noisy, with I’m guessing, limited soundproofing. The hairdryer however was one of the best I have used in a hotel. The reception and breakfast areas are pleasant. Very limited menu in the restaurant. The staff were friendly."

"Surprisingly, no lift but reception was prompt to switch our arthritic selves to ground floor. Bar had excellent, reasonably-priced local wines (Beaujolais Villages) & on-site restaurant had Canette des Dombes."
