"Our family gathered and stayed in the Restored Farmhouse mid November. The property was beautiful! We enjoyed feeding, petting and watching all the animals living on the farm. Several people in our group enjoyed fishing in the small pond. We brought our own firewood and spent the chilly afternoon around the fire pit - lots of s'mores and laughs! The kitchen was well appointed and had all of the things we needed to prepare and enjoy meals together. There were plenty of kitchen and bath towels...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, peaceful property. The house was beautiful, well stocked, and very clean. When we weren’t visiting the Amish shops, we were back at the house enjoying the peaceful beautiful landscape. It was hard to leave. We will definitely be returning. "

Great Room with cathedral ceiling and corn stove.

"It was lovely walking through the orchards and many paths off leash. The only problem was when she saw her first horse and buggy racing down the street and gave a short chase. Huge house (upstairs). Spotless. So many beds! (I only needed one) Sad to see all the trees of the orchard in decline but I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nice folks."

"The place was very clean and nicely appointed. While not used by our group, lots of entertainment extras were available. The setting was very tranquil and offered amazing sunrises and sunsets. Tommy, the barn cat, was an excellent greeter and waited patiently outside to join you on a walk about the property. Kitchen was used extensively and served us well. "

"The house was in immaculate shape. Each room was elligantly designed with matching decorations. There were a vast amount of accommodations such as coffee, extra toothbrushes and dish washing supplies. I would definitely recommend staying at the house. The owner was very nice and accommodating. "

"The house was very nice and comfortable. There was plenty of seating outside and in the barn area. Downstairs was open enough to get wheelchairs around. It would have been helpful to have a handicap railing by one of the toilets downstairs. "

Covered hot tub on the deck overlooking the river.

"We were four friends from elsewhere in Ohio coming together for a couple of days of fun and hiking. We loved the cabin and its quirkiness. We hiked and enjoyed an afternoon drink and appetizers in the deck overlooking the river. The kitchen was well stocked and we had our evening meal with music from the record player playing in the background.
