Herons Haven is the perfect nest to enjoy the best of Bellingham . Just steps into Fairhaven Village and a short walk to Taylor Street Dock and Boulevard Park. Close access to trails and parks galore!
The moment you walk in the door of Herons Haven, you will be struck by the gorgeous attention to contemporary detail and the bright, yet cozy feel of this brand new construction suite. This is a street level unit.
The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, and the drawers and cupboards are filled with everything you will need to create a gourmet dinner away from home. With grocery stores and specialty shops just a block away, this is especially enjoyable. The counter is a great place to sip a glass of wine and chat with the cook. There is also a cozy eating nook for meals or a great office away from home.
The living room is a cozy place to watch tv, curl up with a good book, or just enjoy the modern gas fireplace. The TV spins around and is viewable from the bedroom nook.
Two queen-size beds offers sleeping for up to 4 guests; one in a private bedroom, and the other in the large nook behind the living room. Beautiful linens and comfortable mattresses will ensure you rest well during your vacation.
The bathroom features a beautiful vanity and shower. There is a washer & dryer just off the kitchen. A special feature that you won't find often is your own garage for off-street parking and charging station for your electric vehicle.
This unit has it's own outdoor patio equipped with propane bbq grill and outdoor table and seating, in spring, summer & fall.

Enjoyed our stay per usual! Outside seating is great. Walking distance to everything in downtown Fairhaven. Condo is clean and has a great kitchen for cooking!

We enjoyed our three nights stay. The property is very close to Fairhaven and all of the restaurants and the walking paths. And yet very quiet. The kitchen is really beautiful. The finishes are high-quality. For example, the windows are beautiful, and there is a great gas fireplace. The cabinetry and the countertops in the kitchen are very nice. Very pretty unit.

What a cute unit! And with a garage! Very modern and cozy. We used the fire place and loved it. And, you can’t get any closer to down town Fairhaven. Only 5 minutes to WWU

Amazing "Cozy Condo" Under Statement for Sure
Loved every aspect of the property. Beautifully done the detail on everything was exceptional. I have never felt more comfortable and at home than at Herons Haven. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The kitchen was perfect as I love to cook fully equipped with everything I needed. Thank you very much for making it so inviting. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful Fairhaven Condo, Great Location
We were staying in Fairhaven for the week visiting family. The condo is very clean. modern and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the location is great. The garage is very convenient. All the furnishings are high quality and the kitchen is very well set up. It is a quick walk to restaurants and shops in Fairhaven, and a very short drive down Boulevard to downtown Bellingham with more restaurant choices and fifteen microbreweries in a ten block stretch. Add that to the location and this is a place I want to stay on my return visits to Bellingham

Great condo, superb location
This condo is exceptionally well furnished and equipped. The cleanliness level was "pristine." It's pet friendly, and there were bowls and a blanket for our small dog. The attached garage with the driveway for guests was a real plus. Having the gas grill was also a plus, as well as the efficient kitchen. It was clear that the hosts made every effort to provide whatever a guest might need. It's airier and more spacious than it appears in the listing. The location is very easy walking distance both to the charming village of Fairhaven and to the lovely harbor.

Perfect Fairhaven Home Away From Home!
Heron’s Haven is clean , cute, comfortable, cozy, and convenient! We spent a weekend here with our son to explore Western Wa University and the surrounding area. Everything was easy from booking to checkout, and Barbara (the property manager) was helpful throughout the process. You won’t find a nicer rental condo—the unit is furnished with everything you need! Nice touches are everywhere like plenty of warm soft blankets , high quality kitchen furnishings, beautiful art, and even bowls and treats for our dog. We appreciated the garage when coming home on rainy evenings too. The location is fantastic with great food, a market, and fun retail shops all within a 5 minute walk. There is also a lovely peek-a-boo view of the water and if you walk up one block you can get a stunning look at most of Bellingham Bay. We loved Heron’s Haven and will definitely be back!

We stayed four nights in this lovely spot in Fairhaven. Though compact, the apartment was very well-furnished with comfortable beds, sofa and chairs, and well-supplied with the basics plus for cooking and eating in. We loved how clean and fresh it was, along with the nice quality amenities. The location is superb. The apartment is in an upscale residential neighborhood yet we walked only 2-3 blocks to restaurants and pubs, there are many of them around. (Don't miss Sirena, a sweet little gelato shop). We'll try to stay here again next time we're in Bellingham.

A true gem in Fairhaven!
From the moment we drove up to the property to when we had to depart, we were impressed beyond any expectation! Short walking distance to all the good stuff; bakeries, restaurants, fun shops, grocery store and walks along Bellingham Bay or the forested trails in the Chuckanuts. Careful thought and attention went into the design and comfort of the space. Many wonderful details - dimmers on many of the lights, heated bathroom floors, top-down blinds, crisp linens, classy and tasteful furnishings, a swivel tv, and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials helped make our stay feel like home. Must mention how clean it was as well! On one of our evenings eating dinner on the patio, we were fortunate to meet the owner. He truly cares about the comfort and welfare of those who stay at the property. My husband and I were sad to leave after 11 days and plan to return again. We highly recommend this exceptionally clean, well-maintained, "nourishing to the soul" rental.

Stay here and you'll want to move to Fairhaven.
Such a cool place to stay! New, clean, nice neighbors and very responsive owner. The location is tops and if you choose, you'll never need to drive your car. We can't wait to go back!

We just loved our three week stay here. Only a block and a half from Fairhaven which is so convenient. Barbara and the owners were very friendly and generous with there time and special treats. The accommodations were updated and immaculate. The place actually feels bigger than the pictures indicate. We can’t wait for our next visit here, hopefully this summer.
