"If you like solitude and nature, Big Intervale will give you that! The property is beautiful and off the beaten path. There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. "

"My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration."

"The pictures really don't do the place justice. It's such a beautiful cabin with everything you'd need and it's in a beautiful location with mountain views. Everything was clean and felt brand new. We were also lucky enough to get a good view of the meteor shower thanks to the clear skies in the valley. I would 100% come back to stay here again. "We had to cancel due to the fact that the cabin was cold and damp. The key did not work, no TV and the radio had a note on it do not touch. The name listed under hotel .com was not the name of the cabins and we spent alot of time trying to locate the place. Had to ask several people to even find the proper place. Would not recommend this place to anyone."

"We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! "

"To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so...

"Great location….morning coffee on the boardwalk watching the sunrise… very cool. Great town and close to the park with several restaurants within walking distance. As they stated it is a ladder to get to the loft so some challenges at night but ok. Mattress needs to be improved. Overall if your able to handle a ladder fun spot for a night or 2. "
