The space
While visiting the Fox Den you will likely see farm animals, including goats, cattle, the occasional horse, and let’s not forget barn kitties. Our animal caretakers may be seen during the morning hours or evening hours caring for the animals. We will do our very best to not disturb your stay. However if you’d like to meet any of the animals just ask one of the caretakers to show you around or schedule a farm tour using the platform communication system. Guests do not have direct access to farm or with the animals. Guests are not permitted past the red barn or inside any structures other than the Fox Den residence. This is for the safety of our guests, animals, and structures.

Our foxes live nearby and we ask guests to admire them from a distance & watch them play! We take pride in cleanliness. We do a three phase cleaning process after each check out. First phase is disinfecting all frequently touched surfaces such as remotes, light switches, countertops, appliances, door handles, faucets, toliets. Phase two is removing all linens, towels, blankets and washing with Lysol disinfect for laundry with a scent free detergent and softener and then we dry them on high heat. We even disinfect the couches and decorative pillows during this phase. Phase three is cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, cleaning inside and outside of appliances, checking to make sure all dishes, pots, pans, silverware is cleaned properly, cleaning of coffee pot, removing trash, and anything else that is needed throughout the entire home. Once we have cleaned each room we finish by using a Tineco vacuum and mop to put the finishing touches on the flooring and then turn on all ceiling fans. Before each guests checks in we also check the home one final time to make sure nothing was overlooked.
Our checkout rules are easy! We ask that guests load the dishwasher and turn it on, toss a load of towels in the washing machine & get them started, and lastly remove the trash from inside the home and place in trash can provided outside.
