"The Ellysian was a fantastic stay for our family of 4. It is a great location - beachfront and a nice enough deep pool. The staff are exceptional - super friendly and helpful. They really stood out as soooooo nice! The location is great - walk to everything. The room was also very clean and appointed well with plenty of towels, fridge, microwave... even though we brought our own toiletries, my kids loved the hotels shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The restaurant is also quite good. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!"

"Wir haben eine Woche in der Sweet Suite verbracht. Allison ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Sie kocht hervorragend, hat uns in den Ort mitgenommen und unsere Ausflüge organisiert. Toledo ist noch sehr ursprünglich und wir haben viel gesehen. Das Gelände der Cottages ist schön gestaltet und vom Dschungel umgeben. Man hört die Brüllaffen und Papageien, kann auf den Dschungel Trails wandern und beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse Kolibris beobachten. Es war ungewöhnlich heiß als wir dort waren aber wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen. Das Bett war super bequem und durch die zu allen Seiten offenen Fenster mit Insektenschutz und die großen und leisen Deckenventilatoren war es immer angenehm im Cottage. Eine Klimaanlage braucht man dort wirklich nicht. Der exklusive Ausflug zur Schmetterlingsfarm ist sehr zu empfehlen. Insgesamt gibt es so viel zu sehen, dass eine Woche viel zu schnell vorbei war. Wir sind jetzt in Placencia an Strand. Hier ist es auch sehr schön, aber wir vermissen den Dschungel und Allison. Wenn Belize für uns nicht so weit weg wäre, würden wir ganz bestimmt wieder Urlaub in den Hickatee Cottages machen."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exceptional. We had 5 adults & 2 children ( ages 9 & 11). We used a twin airbed in the floor of master bedroom for one child. Pool was a hit with the kids. Decks and piers offered a great outdoor space. We watched manatees most of one day from the pier at the back. Cool experience. All in all a perfect place for our spring break."

"We stayed here for 3 weeks in February. This place is definitely 2and is 5 star. Our trip was very important to our family. Our accommodations being beautiful, very clean, well maintained made our vacation much more memorable. The property, pool, hot tub, swing and picnic table were used daily and enjoyed immensely. The pool was a highlight. The caretakers were very helpful to us, brought fresh fruit or coconut water daily. We would like to thank them and Les for their help and support during our medical emergency. The ambulance service was modern and fully equipped and the hospital was very efficient and well trained. We had family coming and going during the time we were here. Anywhere from 3 to 8 at a time. For some of them it was the first time they had not stayed at an all inclusive and they feel that the trip was magical and amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped and was used daily. We found the location was central to our needs, there was a decent store a few minutes away and we were close to shopping, restaurants, groceries (Publix in Seine Bight was the best place) and excursions. Les helped arrange some of our excursions so we were able to not pay the resort tour prices. He also had some arrangements with other local resorts that allowed us access to the ocean and use of their facilities for a beach day with food and drinks. We would and are recommending this as a vacation of a lifetime destination. "
