Country Farmhouse on 5 Acres Just 7 Minutes to Bozeman

Slow down and relax at Green Gables, a 5 bedroom farmhouse on 5 acres that is a quick 7-minute drive to Bozeman Costco. The original homestead in this area, the house, barn, and out-buildings were constructed over 100 years ago.

Enjoy beautiful views of the Bridger Mountains and the Gallatin Range from the wrap-around porches or the secluded hot-tub. Stroll the property with its original barn, hayloft, and corrals, or take a short walk to the Gallatin River, where hiking trails and trout beckon. You are minutes from trails and creeks flowing out of the Bridger Mountains.

The house has recently been completely remodeled and furnished with many antiques. You'll enjoy the warmth of a country farmhouse that feels like you've stepped back in time, but you'll appreciate the modern technology of two large-screen tvs and fast internet.

There are 4 bedrooms with queen beds and a 5th bedroom with a single twin bed, plus we have a premium queen airbed if you need more beds.

There are two bathrooms, one off the master, that has a classic slipper tub but not a shower. The 2nd bathroom has a shower-tub combination.

The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and pans, spices and oils, and other cooking supplies. The large marble-top island in the kitchen comfortably seats 5 for dining, while the adjacent dining room has a large pine table with 8 chairs. The spacious living room contains a large-screen LCD TV and Bose sound system.

All beds are "heavenly", with compression foam tops and down comforters. You will find the bathrooms supplied with lush towels plus premium soaps and lotions.

There is lots to do for kids, both indoor and outdoor. The house is well stocked with games and balls, there is a sunken trampoline in the large fenced backyard along with the hot tub.

The rural location is great for "getting away", but is only 7 minutes to Costco, 15 minutes to downtown Bozeman, 20 minutes to Montana State University, and 7 minutes to the airport.

Beautiful home!
We decided to stay here while we were on vacation for a whole week. The house was very nice and there was plenty of room for all of us (4 adults). Everything was very well stocked (towels, etc.). The hot tub was great and we got in it almost every night, and the view of the mountains from the front of the house is amazing! If we decide to go back to Bozeman, we’d love to stay here again!

We booked the property to accommodate out of town friends and family coming in for our daughter’s wedding. It is a beautiful home with extra’s such as a hot tub and trampoline. It was close to the venue and everyone loved it.

Beautiful space, location and all the amenities you could ask Such a peaceful space.
Perfect space for my 30th birthday celebration with some friends from out of town. We spent time enjoying the hot tub, playing basketball, relaxing on the porch and enjoying some of the board games. There were multiple short hikes nearby and beautiful views all around. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to not feel crowded or cramped. Highly recommend!

40th birthday getaway
I sent my wife, her sister, sister in law, and some friends to Montana for a long weekend of hiking and exploring. They absolutely loved the house and location. Extremely convenient to get to downtown Bozeman and Yellowstone. My wife wants to plan another trip out there but this time with me and the kids. Nice place to stay!
It was a nice home. It accommodated our family well and was close to Bozeman, Bridger Bowl, and the airport. There was one bedroom/bed that wasn't available because it was broken but we don't need the bed this time. The home is not new and has some wear and tear but nothing too major. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and was just what we were looking for. There was an extra bedroom with a twin bed that we weren't expecting which was nice. The house had all the cooking essentials one would need (cooking supplies, spices, basics). The only thing I would suggest is adding an extra duvet comforter for when the air mattress is used. Paul was extremely responsive.

Family Trip
The property owner was very accommodating in letting us arrive earlier than the normal check in time. The house was reasonably clean. The upstairs bedroom bedspread had some sticky stuff which we promptly cleaned. Having a washer and dryer with accompanying detergent and dryer sheets was extremely convenient. The coffee pot did not work, so we purchased another. The house was close enough to restaurants and stores, but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Wonderful stay with friends on ski trip!
We had a great time staying at this location. The house is very clean and well kept. The hot tub was wonderful and clean and overlooked the mountains. Beds were plentiful (there was a twin in a room we didn’t know about based on the listing), but we would have liked another shower in such a big house. They did leave plenty of condiments and spices/olive oil/peanut butter so check in first before going grocery shopping since we bought doubles of things! Overall, it was a great home and we would definitely stay here again!

Couldn’t have picked a better home!
I could write all day about this place. If you want a view, this house is the place for you. Wonderful beds, trampoline, hot tub, so many beds and rooms. Our kids loved the playhouse. I loved the sunroom. We kept the windows open for a great breeze except for one night when we ran the heat and it worked great. The owners have everything you need here! Just pack your clothes and come on.

Graduation Lodging
We needed a place that would sleep 10 people for my daughter’s graduation. This place worked well. One more bathroom and shower upstairs would have been helpful, but nothing a little time management couldn’t solve. The owner and site caretaker were very responsive to a couple of issues that we encountered. It would be great place to stay if a couple of families came to Montana for skiing. I would definitely rent again.

Exceptional Property & House
Amazing views, sooooo clean, plenty of room, well stocked kitchen for making meals for our group, plenty of nice sheets and towels, trampoline and hot tub a bonus. We had a couple small things that Paul took care of as soon as we mentioned them. Only wish is that the grass around the kid play house was mowed. It was as high as the kids, but they stilled loved it and played in it often. Overall wonderful experience and would highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Great set up for family of 8
We went to Bozeman to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. With kids coming from 3 different states. The layout of the house was great for our family. The trampoline was a hit with our 5 yo grandson. Braden was helpful. We were able to walk to a fishing hole on the Gallitan which was nice. Communication with owner was good pre trip but unable to contact right before and during stay.

Family Reunion in Montana
The interior of the house was exactly as described - it was very clean and comfortable, and for being a group of 10, there was plenty of space to spread out. With the exception of the views and front porch, the exterior was not as described - when we arrived the grass in the yard was above our ankles, the trampoline was broken and extremely unsafe, the hot tub water was dirty and we couldn't access the kids log shed because that grass was as tall as the tire on the tire swing. The owner was extremely responsive when we called - he came out to mow, clean the hot tub and was also kind enough to purchase all of the children and parents passes to the Jump Park in Bozeman. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are very appreciative of the owner's prompt response; we just wish we could have enjoyed the kid amenities that were advertised with the house.

Loved our stay
We loved the location and the home was beautiful, nice it was also close to Costco. The listing showed their was a hot tub and we all brought our suits but no hot tub. I prefer to know if someone lives on site when I choose a place to rent and this was not listed. Privacy is important to me when I rent and no lawn mowing while I am sitting outside with family. It should also be listed as I chose this home specifically for one level bed and bath for my elderly parents that there are several drop offs going from each room, my dad fell going going from the dining room into the kitchen and my brother fell coming with a costco load from the entry way into the kitchen, it would be fine for young guests but it was a danger to elderly guests. If I missed any of this in the listing my fault and I learned better questions to ask in the future. The home was lovely and very clean, we did love our stay; the above info is only a suggestion to add to the listing and remove the hot tub info. Thank you for letting us be a guest.
