"What a fabulous boutique hotel, the suite was stunning, spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The two balconies were a plus! Staff was more than helpful and breakfast was spectacular, more than we could eat! It was across from the “Docks” which was wonderful to have so close - the (large) mall and museum was within walking distance as well as the cathedral. "The hotel is well located, clean and minimalist. The only critique is that luggage has to be brought up a steep two floors staircase to the reception area. Then there’s a small elevator to go up the other floors. "

"Perfect location in the old port. Just a few steps from the metro station and several bus stops. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The internet was spotty. Locking the door using a physical key was a bit of a challenge at first. Hotel Carre Vieux Port was perfect for my short trip to Marseille. "

"Close to beach. No grocery stores close by for quick snacks or food. Limited dining. Had to use e-bikes and scooters to get any amenities or restaurants. No hair blowers in room, nobody made the beds just took out your garbage. Outside is run down. Good about giving help in English. Safe property. "
