"The property is beautifully clean and very well presented, about 8 miles from busy Cangas De Onis in a very rural, small village in the hills. Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. "Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"

"Quiet location with wonderful views from a huge terrace. Kitchen facilities to serve four people were very limited. Very little work surface and few utensils. Eg only three knives. Bedrooms, bathroom and living area were comfortable and spacious. Gave us opportunities for walking, bird watching and enjoying the countryside. However because of this isolated position there was not easy access to shopping for basics. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"This is a lovely house with wonderful views, the garden is pleasant, full of birds which enjoyed the stale bread that we put out. The neighboring cat also enjoys the visitors food. The owner speaks good English and is helpful.The negatives were the arbitrary parking, the access road is very narrow and we had a problem with the septic tank being full causing a bad smell in the cottage. The owner did manage to get the tank emptied, so I guess we were just a bit unlucky."

"Hemos estado una semana de Julio en esta casa que está muy bien equipada: las habitaciones con baño incluido y buenas camas, bien de vajilla y utensilios de cocina, un buen porche donde hemos hecho casi todas las comidas, etc. Es una aldea rural que nos ha gustado y para bien o para mal, no hay buena señal para el móvil, pero si wifi. "Beautiful view from the terrace, as shown in the photos. We never met the host, because of our late arrival, but he did answer questions via text as needed. His tips about visiting the national park were very helpful. Try to arrive in daylight as the house is very hard to find in the dark! "

Seuls bémols : la petite cuisine pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner à plusieurs en vacances et la route assez fréquentée en journée (mais la terrasse donne côté rivière !)
