"I feel conflicting feelings about the hotel. Truly amazing views, warm waters; a great setting. I visited just after schools reopened in South Africa, so it wasn’t too busy, but during school holidays, it’s packed with families. "Very beautiful and stylish hotel, every detail well thought, clean rooms and all hotel areas well maintained. Lovely snorkelling near by, and best breakfast on the island indeed! "Beautiful room and location. Lovely spa experience. Enjoyed the different flavoured water options on the beach. I didn’t enjoy the food I thought it was very average and not fresh. The staff were nice. I would say this hotel is 3-4 stars definitely not 5 star experience."

"Excellent! Just left the ravenala following 5 night stay. We had no compliants at all. We stayed in the adult zone where you get your own bean bag loungers on the beach. The room was very clean, housekeeping are incredible. Each day the room was spotless and care taken with items in the room. "Nice place to view once, but I won't be back. The all inclusive is not really all inclusive but some inclusive. My favourite drink is Negroni and Capirinha and those were not on the All inclusive list, so you have to pay for them. All the cocktails I tried were tasteless and mostly water alcohol and sugar. All coktails taste the same. Not happy with the quality of drinks. Also the sailing, I was trying to sail 3 days in a row, wasn't available. from what I seen only weekend you can do sailing....
