"I was in the area to go to the Spandau Brauhaus pub and restaurant down the street. My friend stayed at the pub but I wanted to have elevators and aircon so I walked 10 mins down the street and it was well worth it. It's nothing fancy, just a nice budget hotel. "

"Central Hotel is located on the U6 BVG metro line. Work is being done on the U Holzerhausen Station but there are frequent shuttle buses that take you to Kurt Schumacher station where you transfer from the bus to the Underground metro train. It takes about 30 minutes to get into town. The hotel provides a nice breakfast. There are about a dozen free parking spaces on the hotel property, on a first come first served basis. Free street parking is a backup plan if all the hotel parking spaces are occupied. I stayed for a week and had a wonderful time in Berlin."
