"It was a nice stay- however the breakfast situation was crazy - resulting in my husband not having everything in the breakfast as it wasn’t available and it was far too busy to wait for them to restock as they were under so much pressure with everything else.. the breakfast is what lets it down.. Breakfast was also great, and felt more personal than other hotel breakfasts that I've had before. My only con is that the floor can be a bit creaky in the hallways, and you may hear someone walking by, but it didn't bother me much."

"We had a lovely experience at this hard-to-fault country house hotel. Noticeably, nothing looked, worn, old or tired. We slept in Room 10 which overlooks the garden and which, going by the fire safety plan on the back of the door, looks to be the largest room on the 1st floor and yes, it's big! Very comfortable 6-foot bed (proper ‘king size') and nice to have a central ceiling light as well as wall and side-table lamps. The bathroom was not huge but adequate, with a large walk-in shower...

"A great base for a weekend stay in Cirencester. The hotel is in the middle of town so a great location to explore the town & surrounding areas. The hotel is lovely & rooms well equipped & very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, a great selection of options on offer, everything was delicious. Would stay again if visiting this area. "

"Bath is a beautiful town, and the hotel was in the perfect location. We were also lucky to have fantastic weather during our stay. The hotel has a beautiful garden, which was lovely to relax in. The room, however, could use a little attention. There was a nearly dead plant on the table, a broken curtain, and a stained carpet, which took away from the overall experience. I would probably stay there again, but a bit of maintenance and care would go a long way. "
