Check in process was awful. I chose the option when I booked to “pay AT location” because we wanted to use a different card to pay but were waiting for the replacement card to arrive - so to hold the reservation I entered my visa debit (again, I chose the selection I was OFFERED to “pay at location”. My card was charged before I even arrived for check-in, which removed the money from my bank account as it was my visa debit. Upon check in the staff were not kind or friendly, I left in tears and then had to sit in my car (as recommended) for two hours and wait for my partner to arrive. They would not refund the original purchase unless we were paying for it with the proper card, but wouldn’t allow me to do this because the card we wanted to use was not the same as the name on the reservation. Nor would they allow me to enter the room, even though the room was paid for in full, because there was an additional $250 deposit required - which was why we wanted to use a separate card in the first place. So, I’m stuck without the ability to have the room refunded, and without enough money left in my bank account to even go grab a bite etc while I waited. Upon checkout I witnessed yet another phone conversation where the staff were talking down to a customer on the other end. It was appalling honestly, I would not recommend staying here. In truth, if I would have been able to cancel our stay without losing $350 I very well would have taken my business elsewhere immediately.
