"We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. The garden is lovely on a sunny day, and Sally the host was very approachable and helpful. Also, the pizza place 300m away...

"This cottage is amazing. Set on the banks of the river in the beautiful village of Beddgelert, this is a great place to stay for an adventure in the Snowdonia National Park. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The living room is relaxing and the kitchen has everything you need. You’re walking distance to pubs, restaurants and coffee shops as well as several hiking trails. When it’s time to rest you can sit in the garden next to the river and listen to the water and nature. Highly recommend...

"Disappointed with water pressure: dog hair on the basement sofas as someone was allergic and reacted with them, but I do appreciate it is a dog friendly ;had to clear the ‘alien’ shower as it was overflowing but was fine afterwards. Fabulous location and lovely sociable house for a big group of a mix of ages from 19-89! "

"Where to start. The only positive comment is that the holiday park that the property is situated is lovely, with good facilities. If I was the owner of the park, I wouldn't allow this cottage to be associated with it. Now for the negatives. 1. Firstly the picture shown on the website is nothing like the property looks like and should be removed. Its an old terraced cottage. That needs a lot of TLC to the front and rear of the property. 2. "Just back from a 3 night stay. We had a fantastic time. The cottage was perfect. Spotlessly clean and in a really good location. Plenty of pubs to choose from in Dolgellau and in a good spot for day trips to Barmouth and Bala. Communication with Finest Retreats was spot on from start to finish."

"Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else. "
