"Modern hotel. Our fault for not checking, but unusual not to have kettle/coffee maker or a safe in the room. Good central location, especially if you use the cut through at the side of the station."

"Basic hotel but no issues apart from the stairwells and staircase to the car park being inhabited by homeless and stinking if smoke etc… my wife in particular found this very intimidating and wouldn’t go to car park alone. This clearly needs addressing by the hotel. "

"Only used as stopover hotel on our way to the Stelvio Pass in Italy but it was a great choice. A very modern, welcoming and comfortable hotel, with all amentities you'd expect for a 4* hotel. Our only challenge was food hotel dining options on the evening, only charcuterie boards available and that's not our thing, disspaointed but not a reason to not stay at this lovely hotel"

"Very off after hours check in process. The place was really dark and locked up. Had to use our cell phone lights just to see a small sign on the door to call a number to get jn, then retrieve our room keys from a lock box. After that, was okay. Plenty of parking, but dark area with very little lighting after hours."

"They have an amazing chef! He made very inventive fresh delicious dishes. The server presented them beautifully. I was very impressed with this hotel restaurant! We enjoyed our room facing the cathedral. We could have watched the nightly illumination from the room but would not have seen the base and doors. The room was small but comfortable and the shower was great. Recommended!"

"We used the hotel as stopover on route to Paris and it was perfect for our needs. Family room was ample in size, clean, bathroom was great and breakfast was plentiful! Parking very easy and location to the main road was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed!"

"We had to find a property at a minute’s notice due to unforeseen circumstances. This could not have been better for our needs. The owners were welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. We had two 20 month girls and it was a great place for them. The toys and games in the property were fantastic. The village and villagers couldn’t have been more welcoming for the girls, on our walks they would go out of their way to show us the farm animals, horses and anything that took their interest. "Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."

Excellent service for late check in

"We were very late getting to the hotel but Coralie was exceptionally helpful in providing us details of the access into the site and how to use the key safe to get our key for the room. The room itself was very clean and tidy and for the 5 hours we were there it met our positive expectations "

"We arrived after reception closed and left early morning but staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone and left clear instructions on how to get in. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was also great! Lovely building and peaceful town, and we want to come back to explore the historical area. "

Ideal for Somme visit with accessibility needs

"We had a great stay in the property, 5 adults and 1 teen with 1 of the adults in a manual wheelchair. The property is accessible with good bedroom and bathroom support, plus a good size parking area. Close to the Somme and all the WW1 sights in the area. Our host was great in answering questions beforehand, welcoming us on arrival and being around if we needed him."
