"Well we picked this lovely Village pub/ hotel to stay in because the village has no shops and as a bonus this makes it lovely and quiet. When we arrived for our weeks stay using this as a base for touring around the lake District national park etc we were greeted with a warm smile and great welcoming staff. "When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. "Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."
