Albeit tranquil and relaxing you are very conveniently placed. The nearest restaurant is in the village of Beaupouyet (3mins drive) and the nearest town is Mussidan which caters for all your needs, and includes an open air swimming pool. The Perigord region is a beautiful unspoilt region rich in history and wildlife. Activities include boating, horse riding, golf at Bergerac (30mins) and Perigueux (40mins). Lac Jamaye Regional Park (35 mins ) Lac De Gurcon (30 mins) There is an excellent direct train service from Mussidan to Bordeaux and Perigueux.
