"We loved this place! It was so beautiful, mostly quiet, cozy and super comfortable. We brought our 13 and 10 y/o grandsons and they loved it also. We spent a lot of time in the rec room and by the fireplace in our cabin as the weather was colder than expected and we actually had snow 2 days in a row. We will try to come back in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor facilities and do more hiking. The on-site restaurant - The Peak is very nice also but had limited hours due to slow business and we weren't able to dine there as much as we hoped. However, that did allow us to go into the little village area and try some of the restaurants there and they were all great! "

"This is the first time we have stayed in Idyllwild and this hotel. The location was good away from downtown and the main road, a mile or so from downtown. The hotel was quiet and the rooms were warm. We chose The Flannel room which had an electric fireplace and a large patio surrounded by pine trees, beautiful. This hotel has other locations, one being in downtown with walking distance to multiple restaurants and coffee houses. We will definitely visit Idyllwild and explore more."
