"It’s funny reading the reviews on here. The place is 2.5 star type place. Basic. Depending on room you get. I stayed in room 404. Two single beds with small bathroom etc. I stayed in summer which seems to be peak season. One thing to be mindful is the whole property faces east or west, so afternoon the sun shines in window s and makes it quite hot but cools down later by 10pm so ok for sleeping. Great view and quiet place. Something different to staying in more popular Te Anau. Good location to...

"The pool had green stuff on the inside wall and water cloudy. Didn't realise I had to book dinner for causal dinning for one? Staff member strange when no one around and I had to pay on ordering? Don't think she realises I was staying at the hotel? "

"Clean room. Noisy until 1000 so if you are getting up early for Milford Sound can be a little upsetting. The beds were hard on my back and my friend said her bed was uncomfortable too. Check in staff very friendly. Overall for what we paid for the room per night, it was worth it."
