A former blacksmith’s cottage and converted smithy with over 200 years of documented history, sleeping six adults and two children.

Containing original beams and large stone wood burning fireplaces, it is the perfect hideaway holiday cottage and a fantastic base for exploring Anglesey. A sun trap in the summer, warm and cosy in winter and dogs are welcome.

A country living kitchen is the heart of the home, and with its log burning stove, comfy sofa and flatscreen TV to ensure the chef is never lonely. Complete with all the utilities needed, granite worktops and Rangemaster cooker. There are three unique and generously sized bedrooms all very tastefully decorated throughout, one on the ground floor and the other two upstairs. The main living room has large comfy sofas, double height ceilings, exposed traditional beams, original stone features and a vast inglenook fireplace, yet it is warm and cosy for snug evenings in. A quiet, mature and sheltered garden benefits from all day sun, complete with garden furniture and BBQ.

Located in the tiny hamlet of Llanfaes with its picturesque village church, half a mile from the main coast road, and only 1 mile from the ancient town of Beaumaris with its fascinating moated castle and bustling waterfront. Beaumaris has all the local amenities you should need on your holiday, with banks, post office, supermarkets, fuel services, shops, chemist, library and doctors surgery. Property benefits from fibre optic broadband; great news for Wi-Fi users on holiday.
