"We were driving from the UK to the south west of France and wanted somewhere to stay en route. What a wonderful surprise this place was. The house is a big, beautiful, old (really old!) property with very generous rooms and lovely ensuite bathrooms. The hosts are very welcoming and generous. Saintes - who knows why that big town is not more widely known as a tourist destination. Incredible architecture, lovely river walks, greta places to eat. And the best bit - we have 2 large excitable dogs...

"What a spot! These brand new condos are in a pretty sprawling complex that is walking distance to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen functional and well stocked. The only strange thing about the place is that there are great 2 shower en-suites but only one toilet that looks like an afterthought in a laundry room - very bizarre. All in all a great spot, though, would recommend."

"The property is ideal in a great location for the whole of the island , everything you need for your stay and more . Great host Jacky pleasure to meet you . Property is a couple minutes walk to the harbour port with plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, boutiques, bars , fish market etc . Also straight onto the cycling paths.
