The theme of our 4 rooms with each an own bathroom:
ON DER GÄNNN
... Get disconnected .
'Op der Gäen' refers to the upstairs rooms of local barns in the countryside.
The eclectic design does not refer to a traditional room:
You sleep in an alcove surrounded by yellow wood shavings, which remind us of the summer naps of our childhood among the hay ...
An atypical gîte to isolate yourself and recharge your batteries ...
See you upstairs in the barn !
THE FAMILY
... cool and the gang
The 'family' suite with its double bed and bunk beds is designed for families.
The room exudes an air of serenity through the use/composition of sober materials. The all-white room is decorated with custom-made furniture in light oak. The private bathroom is integrated into this minimalist composition. The two bedrooms, located side by side, allow for 'being together', while maintaining a certain intimacy between the master bedroom and the (children's) bedroom (the bunk bed can also be used by adults)
Family time.....
Man's Cave
...... This is a man's world, but it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl. James Brown
After the private entrance, you discover the ground-floor living space with its kitchenette and adjoining... let's say 'bathroom cave'.
Through a beautiful staircase you reach the top floor which is used as a resting place... or otherwise..., depending on your wishes ;).
But beware... 'big sister is watching you'....
The materials used for this atypical space, are in coloured raw concrete, raw solid wood and traditional lime paint. This rustic yet carefully crafted composition exudes a "manly and tough" feel.
Only for real men...
... and for women who like real men;)
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
... Into the wild
To reach this gîte 'upstairs', the path continues ...
You will have to climb the steps of a staircase to penetrate the crack in the ceiling, which refers to the crevices of the Mullerthal typology.
Arriving at the top, you will find your resting and watering places, with its triangular volumetrics resembling a tent, made of ultra natural materials.
Are you wild enough?
