Gorgeous Waterfront Battery Creek Retreat

Incredible water views from this top-floor, 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom cozy and well decorated end-unit condo in a gated community in Beautiful Beaufort South Carolina. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, pull-out sofa, comfy King-Size bed, private deck & more! Close drive to Downtown Beaufort, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island! Also visit Charleston and Savannah! Looking for a getaway? Or headed to Beaufort for a Marine Corps Graduation Ceremony at Parris Island? This is the perfect condo!

This unit is not safe or suitable for children or infants due to the proximity/danger of the water and the railing safety design in the backyard. Therefore we do not allow children under 12 to stay in the unit.

There is 1 dedicated parking space labelled with the unit number for our home. Should you need a second parking space, any unnumbered space may be used, labeled V for Visitor.

NO ACCESS - the community next door to the right with which we share a driveway called the Village at Battery Creek is OFF LIMITS to guests. This includes the pool, the firepit, the dock, boardwalk area over the water and common areas. Please respect this rule as we don't want to upset the owners next door.

BOAT DOCK - this is private for the complex next door and is off limits behind a gated keypad. If you wish to bring a small boat and trailer, you can park on site (limited availability) for a $40/Night fee (Max 7 Days) BOOKED AND PAID IN ADVANCE before your arrival. You MUST let us know so we can check availability. There is a public boat launch - Parris Island Boat Landing - next door.

You have full access to the condo. The pool, fire pit, dock, boardwalk area over the water and common areas next door are off-limits as they belong to the community next door- the Village at Battery Creek.

Please note this is an end unit on the 2nd floor, but you do share a wall with the unit next door. It is possible you may hear noises from time to time, but everyone is very respectful here.

The unit is exactly as pictured and the view of Battery Creek is beautiful. The location is very convenient, especially if you’re wanting to visit both Beaufort and the surrounding sea islands.

Our Beaufort Getaway was wonderful!!! The Battery Retreat is just the place to stay!!! Clean, quiet, easy to get to and it is just like the pictures show!!!! Great place for a couple to get away for a long weekend!!!! Definitely one of our favorite places to stay. Wonderful hosts!!! 👍👍

We loved staying here and visiting Port Royal and Beaumont! The condo was clean and well stocked.The view is lovely and it was nice to be able to sit out on the dock and enjoy the water and the beautiful marsh. We even saw dolphins. The condo was perfect for the two of us and was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area of SC!

This place is a gem! Clean and cozy with absolutely everything you need - including charging cables. The location is perfect for exploring the area with a pretty view of Battery Creek and, the owner provided many great restaurant suggestions. Also, Parris Island is a stones throw. I hope to return for another stay.

My son was graduating from boot camp at Parris Island and I picked this property due to location. Two minutes from the base. The condo was beautiful, very clean, cozy, and great view. Amazingly comfortable bed! Great communication from the manager with very helpful information. Truly a great experience.

Great getaway!
We really enjoyed our vacation at your beautiful condo! The condo was perfect and had a wonderful view! And you really thought of everything. The peacefulness and quiet was exactly what we needed. And there are so many wonderful restaurants and activities in the area. One of our favorite restaurants is Q on Bay and then we enjoyed the swings at the waterfront afterwards. Thank you so much for a great getaway to enjoy our anniversary! We plan to come again soon.

Would highly recommend this property if you are attending any activities on the Marine Corp base. It is literally 2 minutes away & very convenient particularly for early morning Family Day or Graduation ceremonies. Condo was clean & comfortable, as well, as well suited with amenities. Only wish we had more time & better weather to enjoy the water view.

Amazing Vacation!
We stayed at the Battery Creek Retreat for 2 weeks as we explored Beaufort, Charleston, Savannah and all points in between. The location was perfect with easy access to highways up and down the coast. The property was very comfortable and accommodating. The sun rises were amazing. The living space is filled with daylight throughout the day. A very cheerful escape. We spotted dolphins and or porpoises off the new deck regularly. All the information needed was provided by the host in a timely manner. The area is rich of with amazing history and couture. We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed the property and location. Highly recommended.

A cozy and relaxing getaway
Our host made our getaway very comfortable and relaxing. Sandra treated us more like friends than tenants. She checked in with us after we arrived to make sure we were comfortable. The condo was so cozy, clean, and stocked with necessities and non-necessities… a container of snacks! From cooking to laundry to sitting enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony…everything was perfect and easy. We loved the quiet location away from the hustle and bustle just a few miles away. Our grandson surprised us with a visit while we were there, He was also impressed with the property and loved his days with us as well. Thank you so much, Sandra. Very comfortable stay!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this unit! The location on the water is beautiful - we saw dolphins in the water a couple of days. It was very clean and comfortable. We chose to stay here and drive back and forth to Savannah two days (about an hour drive away). It was just relaxing to come back to and then go to restaurants in the area for dinner. The owner was very responsive to texts and great to work with. To me, staying in VRBO units like this is way better than staying in a motel. Would highly recommend.
