"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."

"Communication with the host (Hanny) was very good. She responded promptly after we requested information a few days prior to our stay via e-mail. The location of the appartement is away from the village of Marbach going up the mountain (you need a car to get there). The appartment is on the top floor of the farm house. It is very spacious (we were 4 adults and 2 children) and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The view from the livingroom...

"Julie's place was perfect for us. The location was great, walking distance to Lauterbrunen and beautiful views of the hills amd mountains. The condo is spacious with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. We enjoyed visiting Trummelbach Falls, Murren, Kleinschidigg and Grindlewald. We only had 3 days but wished we had stayed longer, there is so much beauty in this area. It was the highlight of our European trip. We would higly recommend this condo. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

Guy is extremely responsive, provided great directions to get to his apartment and included step-by-step instruction (including pictures) on how to get the key and get to the apartment - this is useful when you arrive at an unknown place for the first time. "The flat was warm, quiet and exceptionally well equipped with everything that we needed and more. It was clean and well-proportioned. The view from the balcony is dramatic (understatement) and we enjoyed the change of outlook depending on the weather and time of day. This was the most that we had ever paid for a weeks accommodation in Switzerland, but it was worth every penny. Thank you!"

"Fantastic view on the lakes and mountains, close to many hikes as well. About 15-20 minutes from Interlaken up in the mountain. Excellent equipment and beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, we tripped a breaker on our last night when my daughter tried to plug her adapter herself, losing electricity...didn't find the right box/breaker to reset ! Hopefully, nothing broke. Sorry for that."
