We would love to stay there again in the summer so we could enjoy more of the outdoor activities. The property manager communicated with us promptly and the check in was easy and private. "Snooty goose was perfect for us. To our pleasant surprise it has 3 queen size beds in their private rooms and a great 6 bunk bed kids room! Plus all the sleeping accommodations in the living spaces. The kitchen was so incredibly stocked. If we thought we needed something it was there. Having 2 fridges was an additional bonus. We loved the private space with no neighbors and the woodland feel. The owners living in the basement apartment was not an issue at all. HIgh fives all around."

"We had 33 people here for a family reunion, ages 3-70. It was a perfect spot for us. Every couple had a bedroom and the cousins had their own spaces to hang out, inside and out. We played lawn games out front, the kids liked the playground, and we all watched the Olympics on the big TV. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom space got a little tight at times with so many people, but it worked out okay and we would stay here again."

"11 minute drive to restaurants at Bear Lake and marina. Just a 21 minute drive to the North Shore beach in Idaho. Peaceful, quiet location with beautiful views of Bear Lake. We had two SUVs with trailers (ATV and boat) and there was plenty of room to park. Easy check in and the host was very helpful and prompt to help with needs. Would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again!"

"This lodging had a very impressive view. It was clean but could use some organization in the kitchen and some improvements to the approach driveway. Rocks and big holes make it difficult to back a large boat trailer up to the house."

"I booked this expecting a “luxury” home experience, but our stay fell short of expectations. While the home is beautiful and large, the house was not adequately cleaned upon arrival. The hot tub was non-functional throughout our stay, and several amenities were missing (no basic soap in the showers). I suppose I just expected as a “luxury” listing there would be a higher level of cleanliness & attention. While the host did reply within 24 hours there was never an effort to remedy the condition. As we were there on vacation the last thing we wanted to do was hang around and wait to meet a property manager. The listing makes you feel lake access is close at hand. Actually you need to drive several miles to find lake access. The BBQ grill was disgustingly filthy and needed a thorough cleaning before use. We spent 20-30 minutes cleaning it before we felt comfortable cooking our meal on it. When I mentioned it to the host, she simply thanked me for our efforts to clean it. The vent hood in the kitchen was loaded with grease and dead mosquitos - I am sure it hasn’t been cleaned recently. The pool queues (necessary for playing) were broken. Young grandkids still played even though the cues have no “tips” on them. Despite contacting the host about these issues, no solutions or remedies were offered. I would not recommend this listing if you’re seeking luxury for your stay. It will accommodate a large family. Expect mediocre cleanliness & attention & a 15 minute lake drive."
