"The flat was functional and good enough for our stay but definitely needs some attention. There was everything we needed in terms of kitchenware, bedding and towels etc but it definitely could have been cleaner. There are patches of damp particularly in the bathrooms and the en-suite shower was boiling hot. The upstairs room, where there are 2 sofa beds, was damp smelling and sparse. The location is perfect, not picturesque but right off the Main Street, 5 minutes walk from the castle and river."

"As a former resident of Hampstead, I know this quaint village quite well and we were thrilled to be able to stay at the Village Vixen for it offered an ideal location being within a stone's throw from the amazing shops (fruit/veg, bakeries, coffee, butcher, etc.) and just across from the Hampstead tube stop (Northern line)!
