"Love this place! So clean. The food is great too! The only thing i dont like is the fact that every little steps from the floor above you can be heard below, i guess all hotels are like that. We went during school spring break with 2 children who kept walking back and forth. We got complaint from the guest below us which we understand but hotel floors being that they are buildings should have concrete floor..i mean cements! Other than that, this place is great!"

"An amazing experience "

"The modern simple vibe of the room we had was just what we needed and nothing more. Check in at the Beacon Inn and Spa was easy and they escorted us right to our room which was in the building next door. There is no dedicated parking but we had no problem parking in the free lots as well as on the street overnight. The coffee/tea station is in the hall not in the room, but that didn’t bother us. There also had a courtyard with games and yoga mats to borrow. The mattress was super soft, may not be good for some backs. The room was spotless. "

"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town to the Hudson River. For these reasons and more, I am looking forward to my next visit."
