Peaceful, Quiet Country Guesthouse with Hot Tub

Nestled along a row of pine trees, this unique modern farmhouse with wood accents throughout makes this home stand out among the rest. This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home comfortably sleeps 8 ( 10 with a sofa couch in the basement ) and is the perfect choice for a memorable getaway. After a fun filled day of shopping or adventuring you can enjoy drinking coffee, tea or wine while soaking in the hot tub on the back porch under the stars. You can also watch the horses graze in the nearby pasture. This property is located out in the country but within 10-20 minutes of Amish style restaurants and shopping. Also close by are golf courses and wineries. Within 1/2 mile of the guesthouse is Dundee falls and rocks where you can do some hiking. Or enjoy throwing some hoops on the basketball court on the property or play ping pond in the basement . We are right next door at if you would need anything!

Great weekend getaway with the family!
Property was clean and inviting, and check-in was as easy as could be! Perfect location to visit Berlin and Sugarcreek while still being relatively away from it all. Would definitely stay again!

The Perfect Girls Weekend
We have stayed at Shelia’s property multiple times and we love it every time! The house is immaculately kept and beautifully decorated. There is enough room for all the friends and close to shopping and wineries. Shelia is great at communication and so easy to work with. We always look forward to our spring trip and we will definitely book again!

Super nice, clean and well decorated. We especially enjoyed the big deck. We were able to have room to spread out our work area’s easily. We were able to get to the many quilt stores from the property. We will go back.

Great girls weekend
What a wonderful place to relax and rewind after exploring all there is close by! The house was as shown and had so much to offer. We enjoyed the back porch, basketball, and the small pond with swings. The little extras like cookies upon check in, water in the frig, and good coffee on hand were very much appreciated! Thanks for a home away from home where we could all gather together, from PA and MI.

Girls getaway
A beautiful, spacious, clean home with lots of amenities located in rural setting to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all for 8 women to celebrate a milestone birthday. We enjoyed cards around the family table and lots of laughs outside on the deck as we sat around the fire. The host was quick to respond to us when a need arose. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place
Loved every detail from fresh pine sprigs in the bathrooms to fresh baked cookies at check-in. The place is decorated beautifully. The bar game room gave us a place to play and hang out. The neigh horses were beautiful to watch. Sitting on the front porch watching the amish buggies go by was nice. Great place would recommend for a few couples who want a place to get away. Close to Berlin and Sweetwater shopping

Perfect week with family
The beauty of a boutique hotel with all the comforts of home. Sheila and her family were excellent hosts. Everyone from Grandma and Grandpa to the 11 month old baby had a great time. The boys loved running and playing in the grass while the rest of us watched from the comfortable back deck. The location was perfect for all we wanted to see and do. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to cook Easter dinner. Look forward to staying again!

Friends Getaway
A wonderful home! Inviting and comfortable. We cooked at home except for Saturday lunch out exploring the area. Open plan kitchen+dining room made that easy. We brought card games with us for night’s entertainment. Quiet area to stay but very busy region - Amish region for cheese, bakeries, leather, gifts. Highly recommend this home!!!

Very pleasant & enjoyable
Extremely clean (even tho it's terribly difficult to work with (stinky) well water). The owner has cared & tended this property with class. Details do not go unnoticed. We did bring our own pots/pans/platters (& glad we did) because we knew we would be feeding 8 of us for the entire weekend. I would highly recommend this for an unplugged, restful weekend/stay.

Nice clean house, but NOT 4 bedrooms
This home is clean and decorated beautifully. Easy to access from all Holmes county destinations. If you are traveling as a couple or a small family this house is great. But we did have one major problem with the listing. It is advertised as a 4 bedroom home. This is actually the reason we booked this listing in the first place. The 4th bedroom is in the unfinished basement. The basement has clearly had water damage as there were full dehumidifiers everywhere. Nobody would ever sleep down there, let alone a kid. So our trip was uncomfortable as there were more people than beds available.
