"A lovely experience overall. Friendly staff and a fantastic location. My 13 year old daughter and I booked the Superior Twin Room. There was a major incident in central Amsterdam the day we travelled and we had some trouble getting to the hotel as there were no trams. We were stressed, tired and hungry were given an unexpected bill and not shown to our room. There was a 'Burlesque' book in the room to look at, which was strange with a teenager. "Hotel was clean, staff were lovely and the facilities were as to be expected Good location to catch the number 2 tram into the city Neighbourhood isn’t the best, and if a fire truck leaves the station on the corner it is a little loud! Only slight improvement I would suggest is that, even though a coffee machine in the room is nice, more than 1 pod in a room for 2 for 2 nights would be helpful, and perhaps don’t charge for the pods at reception?"

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...
