"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "

"November 8th - November 13th There are not enough words to describe this property!! The amount of care that is put into everything is amazing. Beth has thought of EVERYTHING you could need...just when you think "Hmm, she probably doesn't have that..." just open a drawer, and there's a great chance you'll find it! The cottage was sparkling clean, the location/view was exactly as shown in the pics, it's phenomenal. We stayed there for 5 nights and I think we had the best sleep we've had in years!...

"You could not ask for a better host than Claire! She was so kind to us during our stay. The house was just as described and the perfect place for us to stay for our 30th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia. The views were amazing, the beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy fire. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Nearby Polly's Cove is a beautiful hike. We highly recommend this property!"

"My 22-y-o granddaughter joined me for her first trip out of the US. I chose this cottage for its proximity to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and the rocky coast. It was perfect for the two of us, plenty of room, very comfortable, well-supplied kitchen, excellent WiFi, and beautiful walks. The owners responded immediately and helpfully to a mechanical issue. Loved every minute!"

"Great location, good value. Cozy and comfortable for a week’s vacation. Only challenge is accessibility, I had assumed that both main floor bedrooms would be usable for adults but the small bed is just foam on plywood, so it isn’t practical for an adult to sleep in that room."

"Choose this site as it was only a 10 minute drive from Harbour Mist, a gorgeous waterfront event venue for our nieces wedding. The place AJs exactly as seen in online photos but the view from both inside and outside more stunning! Luckily this place is in a great location for beach (5 minutes), Lunenburg & Mahoney Bay (40 minutes); Peggy’s Cove (45 minutes) and Halifax approximately 45 minutes. Serene, well decorated, comfy beds, all the conveniences of home and more. You will be delighted by...

"The location is absolutely gorgeous. It served as our "home base" while visiting Nova Scotia. We liked the 'off-the-beaten-path' experience, but it was close enough for us to get around for our various day-trips. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"Hot tub great. Lighting could have been better. Kitchenette area dark to work in and only had one plug for 4 appliances, made cooking difficult. No TV channels."
