We arrived towards the evening, not really knowing what to expect. So, when we got there, even though there were houses (cabins?) nearby, we felt we were in the middle of nowhere. It's a cute, private little cabin. For people looking for solitude, it is a great setting. During the next few days, walking and driving around the roads in the area, it became evident we were actually in a somewhat established neighborhood, just very peaceful and quiet. The only problem we had with this rental is that my wife had wanted to do some work that required internet access, which it turned out, is not available at this cabin. They do have satellite reception for their tv's. If the owners had posted that there was no internet, we completely missed that point. The only other problem we had was access on the road to the cabin. We have a small car that rides low to the ground (lower than most cars- ugh, city slickers!). The road has 3-4 large speed bumps, which we could barely get over without scraping the bottom off of our car. Other than those two problems, I liked the place. I think anyone who is looking for a quiet, cozy, peaceful place (and doesn't need internet) will enjoy staying here. When we had first arrived there, we had a problem getting the tv and satellite going. We called the host and found her to be extremely responsive. She had her son drive up and get going for us.
