The Hendrickson House in downtown Bayfield, WI Sleeps 5. WIFI. Private keypad entry. 1 Queen Murphy Bed Sleeper in living room, 1 King Bed and 1 Twin Bed upstairs in the bedroom. (12 steps to upstairs) (2) bath rooms, 1 up shower & 1 down combination tub/shower. Jacuzzi upstairs in King Bedroom. Deck in back and porch in front of home.
The Hendrickson House (1102 Square Feet) is a beautifully decorated, fully-furnished vacation condo in historic Bayfield with hardwood and slate floors, a fireplace. 43" flat screen TV with cable. WIFI, Full & well-appointed kitchen including drip coffee maker & Keurig (K Cup Pods) (bring your own coffee) cooking utensils plates, dishes, wine glasses, paper towel and more! Large deck in the back with table and chairs. As well as table and chairs on the Front Porch.
Up stairs to the Bedroom with 1 Queen bed, 1 Twin Bed, Bathroom with Shower and jetted Tub. Lake Views. Located at Rittenhouse Ave & North Broad Street you are downtown Bayfield, Wisconsin with shops and restaurants just steps away. Convenient coded key pad entrance door lock so you can arrive and start enjoying!

After making a reservation, we will email you and you must immediately reply to our email (not VRBO messaging) with your full address, names of guests and which are adults and children and their addresses, for Wisconsin Guest Registry Statute.
Please note that VRBO will not allow us to message you with our email address and if we attempt to do so, they will block the email out. This must be done within 1 hour of making the reservation on VRBO. We will attempt to text you as well. Nice house, nice location
This was a nice property, very clean. The location is great, walking distance to shops, dining and cruises in Bayfield. It's not really 2 bedroom as the second sleeping area is the couch pull out bed, but it was fairly comfortable anyway. We had a nice stay.

Don’t Miss This One
Location is perfect for enjoying Bayfield while still giving the feeling of being tucked away from the main drag. It was immaculately clean and had all the things we needed to make our stay comfortable. This time it was just two of us but we could have easily fit 3 more and still not felt cramped. We will be back, thanks for a great stay!

Great for family get away to Bayfield
This is a house with a great location near restaurants, shopping and lake. Nice lake views. It was fully remodeled with wood floors, a hot tub and deck. Has a nice kitchen area with all the amenities. This is the second time my wife and I stayed here with another couple. The only drawback is a lack of closet space to hand clothes.

Great Rental Home and Location
This is a great place to stay in Bayfield! It is conveniently located to not only places within Bayfield but also places outside of Bayfield! We loved the fireplace and homey it felt, definitely a place I would book again!

Right in the Heart of Town
This property’s best feature is it’s location— steps away from all Bayfield has to offer! It was nice to be able to walk anywhere. The house was clean and pleasant. The upstairs windows have views of Lake Superior!

Perfect rental in a perfect location
This is the perfect rental for a small group in Bayfield. Location is so convenient for shopping, restaurants, groceries, coffee shop, ferry. It was very clean and the set up was very nice. Would absolutely stay here again when the weather is warmer. It was unseasonably cold, so we enjoyed the fireplace. Jack was very organized with communications and we had everything we needed!

Charming
This is a cute little place that worked great for our family's two-night stay. The king bed and single bed upstairs, plus the fold-out couch downstairs, provided plenty of sleeping space for a couple nights. The whirlpool tub is very nice. The front porch and back deck are enjoyable outdoor spaces. It's just a short walk from almost everything in Bayfield, including a little grocery store and of course the lake.

Perfect stay in Bayfield
The upstairs bedroom and sitting area is terrific, but even the downstairs pull-out was very comfortable with the extra padding included with the linens. Downstairs dining and sitting area is all anyone could wish. Kitchen is fully supplied with dishes, pots, utensils, two small refrigerators and a nice flat-top stove. Both a regular Mr. Coffee maker and a Keurig machine supplied. Both the front and back porches were pleasant retreats at different times of the day. Location is perfect. Would absolutely stay again.

Great location and nice space!
We had a great stay at Hendrickson House and will likely stay there again! We LOVED the location as well as the comforts of the main floor living space. I think there was an opportunity for it to be a bit cleaner - we had an 11 month old who spent a lot of time on the floor, and he definitely didn't come up clean! I also wish there was more clarity on the lack of separation between the upstairs sleeping spaces - the second room is more of an open closet/alcove with a twin bed, and it got quite warm in there. I also wish there was more comfortable deck and porch seating. Overall, as mentioned, we will likely stay again as the space and location are ideal.

What a Jewel!
First let me say that the photos don’t do this place justice! It is SO much better than the pictures. It was super clean and welcoming. The location is walkable to everything and perfect. We were traveling with my elderly parents. They slept upstairs in the bed and my husband and I took the sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa has the sheets of the previous guests oddly still on it but thankfully there was a fresh set still in the box with the pillows and blanket. The sofa bed was… well… a sofa bed. Nothing great but serviceable. It could stand some WD-40. The water pressure was good. The fridge is a little odd please note it is NOT a full sized fridge. The kitchen was pretty well appointed. The upstairs bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. Some reviews harp on the fact that there isn’t a door at the top of the stairs but because of the layout of the house we did not find this problematic AT ALL. We had plenty of privacy and no one’s hearing anyone snoring or whatever. My parents really wanted to watch cable and never did get it to work but we were oddly able to get our local news in NC. We were there to see the sights though so who cares about the TV. No one was upset about it. This place is beautiful! Definitely a great find. Worth every penny.

Bait and Switch?....
The furnace had died the day before we arrived. When we finally called to receive the never-sent door code the house was 41ºF inside. My husband called the host to report the imminent freezing of the pipes and was met with a strange disinterest. At one point, the host suggested that he would sue us if any pipes froze!. He offered us an apartment he owned in the same town. What do you say to that at 9pm in a small town? We later discovered it had fewer beds than the house we originally rented causing our children, who were still driving up, to pass on the chance over fight over who had to sleep on the floor. They turned around and went home. We finally reached the host the next morning alerting him to our departure. Our vacation was clearly over but he said it was all our fault, citing his rigid cancellation rpolicy. Worst experience ever with VRBO! Good Luck to you....!
