This beautiful cottage is just 2 blocks from the beach and historic down town Bay St. Louis. Furnished with cozy antiques and beach decor, it is the perfect place to get away and relax. Just an easy walk to explore our quaint sea side community complete with coffee shops, antique stores and art galleries, not to mention excellent restaurants, all within walking distance. The Carroll House Cottage is completely furnished with all dishes and linens, so just bring the sun tan lotion and the wine and enjoy!

Location, location, location!
Comfy cottage is walk-able to restaurants, bars, shopping and the Bay St. Louis beach and harbor! Property owners were super easy to work with. Location offers a quiet stay, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town BSL.

Great stay! Very clean, well decorated, great location and very relaxing! The owners were very quick to respond and very helpful in recommending a mechanic shop to take care of an issue with our vehicle after we arrived to BSL. We were able to walk to the local restaurants, gift shops and enjoy the beautiful weather listening to great music. The location is a short drive to the Biloxi Coliseum where we were also attending an event over the weekend. Highly recommend!!

Sweet cottage tucked back off the street.
We enjoyed ourselves. It was setup perfectly for us two. It clean, comfortable, quiet, close to the shops and bay! We enjoy visiting Bay Saint Louis! The Churches, restaurants, bars and music are nice to visit!

We had a great time visiting with family, we were in town for a memorial. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, which was good for our traveling dogs. Just minutes to shops, food, and fun. Will stay there again if we return to the area.

Great getaway in BSL
The cottage was perfect for my wife and I and our 2 dogs. It is quaint, very clean, and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and so is the neighborhood. This is our second stay at the cottage and we will be back.

Great cottage and experience
My husband, myself and our two small dogs greatly enjoyed our short getaway. Jane went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. It is only a short walk to many fabulous shops, restaurants and of course the beach. We had a wonderful time!

A Perfect Couple's Retreat
My husband, our mini dachshund and I stayed at the Carroll House Cottage for 3 nights. The cottage was immaculate and equipped with everything a guest would need or want. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was only a few blocks from the beach, restaurants, and shops. A delicious gourmet breakfast was served every morning and the owners, Jane and Kevin, could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. It was a perfect weekend for us and we look forward to returning to this charming cottage in the near future.

Loved our stay!
This is a wonderful property! Location is great, and would have been walking distance from everything if it had not been 100+ degrees during the day--obviously no fault of the property owner. Lots of natural light when the blinds were open, and the small enclosed yard and lounging area in the back were very pleasant. We loved the ceiling fans in the living room and the bedroom. The only negative comment we could make is that there was no broom, and we could have used more trash can liners for the kitchen.

After Holiday Get-a-Way
We enjoyed our stay in Bay St. Louis along with our dachshund “Patrick”. The cottage was clean, bright, well equipped and located only a couple of blocks from the beach and close to several good restaurants, awesome live music, and a great ice cream shop and coffee shop. Breakfast at Buttercup was outstanding. Jane was a great host, responsive and accommodating. We appreciated the use of the two bicycles made available to us. The weather was awesome, the cottage was perfect and Bay St Louis provided us with a great “After Holiday” get-a-way! Thank you Jane & Kevin for sharing your quaint & cozy cottage with us. Not Quite As Anticipated
Our party of four found that Kevin and Jane are accomodating hosts who will go out of their way to assist their guests. The cottage is actually part of a bed & breakfast facility, located behind the main house. Breakfast is included for short term cottage guests but those staying for longer periods are charged extra for breakfast, except on weekends. Long term guests are also expected to purchase additional toiletries, paper towels, etc.and clean the cottage before departing. Guests with pets can leave their best friend in their room in a crate if they are staying in the main house; however, well-mannered pets are allowed to remain uncrated in the cottage. There's only a small pet deposit and we appreciated not being charged a rental deposit up front. The breakfasts were to die for but the cottage was not quite what we had anticipated. We had quite a bit of difficulty converting the futon to a bed and vice-versa. And talk about an uncomfortable bed - it couldn't have been much worse! To Kevin's credit, he did say that he and Jane were considering replacing the futon with a sofa bed. The cottage is clean but could use a fresh coat of paint inside. It's just not as beautiful as the photos seem to indicate. The old pickup stored in open view at the end of the driveway right alongside the cottage certainly makes the property look less desirable. Kevin and Jane have lots of printed information about local attractions and restaurants to pass on to guests. We loved the food and service at Sycamore House, a charming restauant nearby. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and our hosts were very gracious. If the futon had been comfortable and the pickup had not been parked alongside the cottage, we would have given the cottage a higher rating.

Very pleasant . Cute cottage. Very well supplied. There was even ice in the fridge. Nice and quiet and away from all the fun downtown but close enough to walk to the fun!

Convenient Cottage
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We had everything we needed. We were staying because of business at Stennis Space Center and the owners were very gracious with allowing my spouse to stay later than check out due to timing of my meetings. The location was perfect for those doing business w/NASA in Waveland. Would recommend it for location in relation to restaurants and shops. Easy Walk. Thanks again to the owners!
