We had a wonderful vacation fishing and spending time together in this house. It is clearly well maintained and cared for. Everything we wanted it had; green fishing lights, washer and dryer, spacious deck, crab trap, three beds and two baths, etc. The house rules are reasonable and there were plenty of kitchen pots and pans.
Only two things that we noticed that we thought we should mention:
1. I don’t think the ramp is truly an ADA handicap ramp, and it is steeper than what we expected from the pictures. Maybe it was wishful thinking? My father in law has had a hip replacement, and the ramp (and the stairs too) were a little difficult and painful for him. I don’t think we were intentionally misled, we just misjudged the pictures of the ramp.
2. The beds were a little hard. I think an egg carton mattress pad would make a world of difference here! But that could also be that you don’t realize how much you miss your Sleep Number until it isn’t there. Haha! We definitely slept though!
Even with those two things, it’s still a 5 star rental for us, and we would come back to it in a heartbeat!
