Built in 1867, the Averill Block is consider the oldest continuous use commercial building in the State of Michigan as well as the oldest building in downtown Bay City. The 12 ft ceilings and 8 foot tall windows allow for a light and airy feel. Located steps away from everything in downtown Bay City, you can simply park your car for the weekend and walk to everything.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of downtown, you are steps away from shops, eateries, and a conference center. The area is known for being safe and easily walkable. Wenonah Park and Bay City's river walk is less than a block away where many Downtown events take place, including seasonal and major concerts, Riverside Art Festival, Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival, Bay City Fireworks Festival and so much more. We're also near the Bay City Downtown "Feet On The Street" block closures in the summertime, where there is extra seating, free wellness classes, shopping, music and more.
Getting Around:
Park your car and enjoy your river walk from Downtown to Uptown. Many historic neighborhoods East of Downtown provide walking tour.
Other Things to Note:
We provide passes for on-street parking or in city lots nearby.
We do not allow dogs, and Michigan law prohibits the smoking of any substance (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and e-cigarettes/vaping) in short term rentals used by the public. A $200 additional cleaning fee will be added to your stay.
There are security cameras located at the front door and in the hallway of the building.
